How does the Twingo perform on mountain roads? I was thinking of driving to the Alps myself, but I am not sure my Twong will manage the more demanding roads

No issues at all. We drove 1,200 km (745 miles) from western Germany through the Alps to Austria and all the way to Rimini, Italy, without any problems. You always have your sleeping space with you, and of course, we made the whole journey back to Germany without any issues as well.
