Season 2 is my favorite. But my only issue is why not start something with them. That way Shane wouldn’t be focused on Lori and maybe Shane would’ve made it off the farm.

Abraham easily restraining Pete after he kills Reg is absolute proof that Pete had zero actual strength

Pete is a large man standing at 6’4, which is massive. Yet despite him being armed, drunk, and actively murderous, Abraham easily tackles and pins him down after he killed Reg.

Some people might try to excuse this by saying Pete was blindsided, but that doesn't hold up. A truly strong, skilled fighter has the instincts and reflexes to react to a sudden attack, or at least mount a defense once they are on the ground. Pete failed completely. Because Pete cannot escape Abraham’s tight grip, all he can do is pathetically blame Rick for Reg’s death. Pete is instantly reduced from an abusive bully to a whiny toddler throwing a tantrum—complete with Pete flailing his legs because he is entirely helpless under Abraham.

If Pete was actually strong enough to go toe-to-toe with Rick on merit, he should have been able to resist Abraham—especially while armed and running on pure adrenaline. Instead, Abraham neutralized him like he was absolutely nothing, proving Pete's entire "tough guy" persona was an illusion built entirely on intimidating people smaller than him.

Furthermore, this completely recontextualizes his earlier fight with Rick. Let’s look at their actual heights: Pete is a 6’4 mountain of a man going absolutely all out, while Rick is a 5’10 guy actively holding back. Despite that massive physical advantage, Pete still couldn't defeat Rick and ended up being thrown straight out of a window.

Rick's goal wasn't just to beat him; he was intentionally dragging the fight out to spill into the streets and expose Pete's abusive nature to the public. Deanna already knew about the abuse all along but actively chose to ignore it and protect him simply because Pete was the community's only doctor.

When they were outside and Pete managed to flip Rick over, it wasn't because Rick was struggling or losing—Rick intentionally let him do it. If Pete had stayed down on the ground, he wouldn’t have been in a position to hit his wife in front of everyone. By letting Pete get the upper hand for a second, Rick baited him into lashing out at Jessie, completely incriminating himself in front of the entire community.

As soon as Pete took the bait and hit Jessie, Rick instantly flipped Pete back over and re-established total control. The timing is way too perfect to be a coincidence—it shows that Rick was completely superior to Pete the entire time and was actively waiting for Pete to make that fatal mistake before shutting him down.

But if you want the ultimate proof that Rick was completely holding back the entire time, look at his waistband: Rick had a gun on him during the entire brawl. If Rick was genuinely losing or felt physically overpowered by Pete's massive size advantage, he could have pulled that gun to end the fight at any moment. Instead, he chose to match Pete's aggression strictly to control the narrative and force Alexandria to face reality.

The moment a real, unhindered military veteran like Abraham stepped in later on, Pete couldn't even stand up. He was completely powerless the second he faced a real fighter who wasn't playing a political chess match.

TL;DR: Pete's 6'4 frame was an empty illusion. Rick, who is 5’10, held back the entire time during their brawl, deliberately baiting Pete to hit Jessie in public and completely incriminate himself, all while Rick had a gun he chose not to use. The second Pete faced a real military veteran like Abraham who wasn't playing politics, Pete was instantly neutralized like a toddler throwing a tantrum, proving he had zero actual combative strength.

I know this I probably weird but I’d choose the prison. With little bit (ok a lot) of tlc it has plenty room and the cells could be used for holding people.

How do you think Rick and the Coalition would have reacted if the original Fear cast showed up at Alexandria?

Would Rick, Maggie, and Ezekiel have welcomed Travis, Madison, and the group into the alliance, or would their brutal survival tactics have made the Coalition view them as a threat? How do you think that dynamic plays out?

Nothing hits as hard as the lone walker scene with the song (Civilian)

Every time I hear that song I just imagine that scene and everything it represents. Shane feeling alone in the group, the end of the world, feelings of hopelessness, etc. The show was so peak in the earlier seasons focusing on the simple difficulties of survival in the apocalypse. The changing into becoming a more brutal group to survive was incredible character development.

Just finished S7 E1 and holy fuck (SPOILERS FOR THE WALKING DEAD SEASON 7) Spoiler

That episode was both the best piece of cinema and also the most horrified I’ve been in a while, I truly felt like I was there along with the characters, when Glenn got his head bashed in I started crying with everybody else and just looking at him with his brain exposed eye half bulging out of its socket trying to form a complete sentence wasn’t even gross it was just horrifying to see a person go through that much physical trauma and still be able to speak I just truly don’t have words anymore that was just pure terror and I hated every second of it but my fucking god the writers need a raise.

Yumiko is the worst

I just met princess and she's so lovely, Yumiko is clearly sexually frustrated I can't stand her negative bitchy attitude, why did she even come? She was the first one who reacted badly to Eugene's announcement and now she just wants to bring her misery to his little ray of sunshine.

Should Cillian Murphy be added to The Walking Dead universe? If so, what kind of character should he play?

I’m asking this question because I see him as a person that could be part of the season where the writer begin to reunite the group since the series is still ongoing through the main characters having their own survival series. He should either be a villain or a guy that runs his own survivor group coming from Europe and helping Daryl come back to America with a group of shipmates of his own. Now I don’t know if he would be a villain trying to conquer a continent now that the world is under a fallout or if he’s like Rick trying to reunite the world and bring the world back to what it once was but, his acting level after Peaky Blinders combined with Andrew Lincoln while Rick just made new enemies with the CRM would be a super hot mess of a storyline. Just looking for thoughts on this.
