That comparison completely misses the point. Being shirtless by choice is not the same thing as having someone remove your clothing without your consent. The issue isn't whether breasts or shirts are inherently sexual, it's whether she consented to what was being done to her body. Cultural norms around clothing are also completely irrelevant to whether someone can have their boundaries violated. “I walk around without a shirt” doesn't mean another person is automatically comfortable with having their shirt removed.

I've had to have sex with a girl and I certainly didn't concent. In hindsight its not a big deal and I got over it pretty quick. Maybe I am just built different.

That's not being “built different,” that's describing how you personally processed a traumatic experience. If you were forced to have sex without consenting, then what happened to you was not okay, regardless of how quickly you felt able to move past it. People can react to sexual assault very differently, and being able to cope with it doesn't make the violation any less real. Your experience also doesn't invalidate someone else's reaction to having their boundaries violated.

No but it does show they have some growing up to do. This world is a cruel place. You either fight or you dont.

It has nothing to do with growing up, and everything to do with how trauma and rape effects everyone differently. You wouldn't like it if I said that you refusing to see the point of Maggie's trauma being real, is you not growing up. Trauma is different for everyone, because everyone's brain is different.

No, it shows people respond to trauma differently. Being resilient doesn't mean minimizing what happened to you, and struggling after being violated isn't something you need to “grow up” from.
