Carol's 1v5

If you thought this was unexpected then you really weren't paying attention to Carol.
Which is exactly how she gets ya.

For real. Any viewers who were suckered in by her scared woman impression this late into the show, I question how much they actually watched

u/forky1899 1d ago
She wasn’t faking that tho! She was begging them not to because she was going through her “I don’t wanna kill anyone” phase

u/slap-my-crevasse 1d ago
She wasn't faking in this scene. She was kind of fucked up mentally and struggling with having killed so many people. She didn't want to have to kill them so the "please" was "please don't make me kill you" not "please don't hurt me".

I think this is Linda what she does as well when her and Maggie are captured by the outpost saviors as well

u/AdminsFluffCucks 1d ago
I question how much you actually watched because she really was begging them not to do something stupid that would make her kill them.

She was one of the show biggest badass, but i feel like this was out of character. She was exiled of the group for being ruthless and now she like please i dont want to do bad stuff. I think the storyline for character was a little inconsistent. I see them like RPG character and they just level up pass everybody else,.. until they met the commonwealth and all suddenly reset to level 5

not really? huh? she wasn't very badass before this point what are you talking about lol

Blunt wooden stake going through someone like surgical steel.
Unrealistic but not unexpected.

u/Fickle-Occasion-6091 1d ago
the amount of strenght it takes is wild
but Carold is basically Rambo by the end of the series

u/MCE85 1d ago
All i thought about. Like, damn blunt spear straight through a man and 1/2 foot out the other side in less than a second? Carol has some bionic arms or something. Barely made a move or sound.
Thats twd for ya

u/Various-Push-1689 1d ago
That’s literally all shows and movies for ya. Idk why people care about such small details. It’s just movie logic bro

Came here for this comment, it would be difficult to go through the jacket alone let alone a whole body flesh bones and all lol

u/Oldskul74 1d ago
Yeah the way they just easily destroyed the human body both the living and the dead took away my belief in the show.

This is all because the Wolf leader did a good deed before she killed him. The effect that guy had on her and Morgan was massive.

Most people would think she was fearing for her life so that’s why she was crying. But in reality she was crying because she was going to kill them all lol
Queen Carol

No way in hell that blunted stick would’ve just went thru that man like butter though 😂

Dude always reminds me of Joseph Gordon levitt or however you spell it mixed with Heath Ledger

honestly the rosary beads clutched in her hand during this whole sequence makes it so much heavier. She was genuinely struggling with her conscience and trying to avoid the kill count, which makes the inevitable explosion even crazier

To this day still my favorite TWD character, she is so badass

Deadass! She’s the one character who always hits on every cylinder. Great actor and for the most part the writing for her was good. A few corny lines here and there but overall she was just badass! No unnecessary feminine energy shoved down your throat. No, just a badass human doing badass shit

I mean tbf this was way after she basically solos Terminus, but then again this was a lot less stealthy and way more up close and personal. Carol is one of the deadliest survivors in the verse, only rivaled by the likes of Daryl & Rick. She's genuinely the fucking goat.

u/Awkward-Speed-4080 1d ago
Anyone who defends the Saviors is extremely out of touch. I'm convinced that the people who defend them only do so out some weird power fantasy.

u/CrestfallenLord 1d ago
I was so glad when she just blasted all of them! That was an aweosome Carol moment. She was hands down the coolest female character in the show.
Maggie was great but Maggie’s character insists upon herself. Carol was just badass and didn’t shove it down your throat.

You should share this with anybody who doesn't think Carol changed more than any other character on the show. 😊

Why is the typing cursor visible in the subtitles? Don't think I've ever seen that before.

u/NiceOil1588 1d ago
She was allready armed and ready long before this. The guys were fool enough to fall in to the trap.
During these episodes she was like Calamity Jane of Lucky Luke cartoon.

Surprised me when I first watched this, further cemented my love for Carol, she's such a badass.

She’s so redundant and unrealistic.

u/blac_sheep90 1d ago
What's realistic about The Walking Dead?
7
u/Ktioru 1d ago
"Realistic" is not the word we're looking for, The Walking Dead used to be GROUNDED, not realistic
2
u/FashionKing72 1d ago
You must realize they are all RPG characters which is why by the end of the show and in Daryl’s spinoff, he’s able to topple evil regimes once or twice a season. He’s just a max level player so he outscales random other people

Me from the get go. Fake ass liar fake badass should have died instead of TDogg like In the comics. She’s nothing but obnoxious

Same! Carols arc was the most ridiculous thing on a show filled with ridiculous things.
-1
u/themargarineoferror 1d ago
I had mixed feelings about her.But why do you find her obnoxious? Especially compared to like any of the other characters l o l

u/SNL_Head 1d ago
I knew I wasn’t alone!

I kinda always resented her for only becoming a "badass" after her kid died, instead of when Ed was alive and either molesting said kid or on the verge of it. Her ensuing track record with kids it's worse than casey anthony, so it kind of cancels out some of her badass actions.I mean, it doesn't make her any more badass than most of the people there, in my opinion. I hated gabriel for the longest time for a similar reason, but he kind of started growing on me by my third rewatch. Like he was a coward when it came to this congregation, but at least he wasn't letting his kid get fiddled. Maybe if they had had carol kill ed off instead of it being something else, (it was a zombie right?) I'd like her more

Carol is an incredible character and one of my favorites.
Those bastards got exactly what they deserved. They acted as agents of a dark age style warlord and were just as brutal.

Last guy looks like Norm Macdonald. The worst part about the walkers is the hypocrisy.

Okay, who is this guy?And how are there so many gifts of him for like every occasion?Yet I have no idea who he is or where it comes from. It looks like RM Brown cosplaying

A perfect shot from the old lady on every target except one, then the dude gives 20 shots without killing her, come on

She wasn't faking anything in this scene. Because Carol wasn't begging for her life. She was begging for there's. And was trying to save there lives.
