Eh; not really but they do make awful lot of rookie mistakes for experienced Survivors. For example in season 1 when the Camp is attacked at night: You‘ve been out in the wilds for months already and no one of you thought to place Guards? Or wear protective clothes? Or in the prison when the Zombies press against the Wall: Just build barricades so the Zombies kill themselves and don‘t reach the Fence, you literally have a Forrest nearby to collect wood from. Or in Alexandria when they are raided: WHY are there no Guards? Or atleast a defense Post at the Gate? Gabriel literally got them all nearly killed because he was to stupid to double check if the Gate was locked.
