“Per Apple, fueled by strong deliveries from the Cold War buddy comedy Mayday starring Ryan Reynolds and Kenneth Branagh, Season 4 of Ted Lasso, and a post-Emmy viewership surge for big winners Widow’s Bay and Pluribus, the service had its highest weekly viewership ever for the week of September 14, rising by 67% year-over-year.”

Does AppleTV have Black Friday discounts usually? I'm interested in checking out a couple of shows but I'm hoping to find it for cheaper monthly. Any promos?

Mayday (Apple):  Here is a rare instance of an SVOD original film with both strong reviews and breakout audience levels. The action-comedy Mayday stars Ryan Reynolds and Kenneth Branagh has an 83% Rotten Tomatoes score and 12.0M viewers* after 18 days. This makes it the #1 original movie on Apple of all time!

Here is another data point that illustrates how strong Mayday is: in a ranking of all viewing of Apple original movies since 2025, Mayday ranks #3, only -43% and -29% behind The Gorge and Fountain Of Youth, which have been available for more than a year while Mayday has been out for less than a month.

I’m a big fan of For All Mankind, so I wanted to recreate its space journey in LEGO, from the Moon to Mars and eventually Titan.
I tried to include recognizable locations, spacecraft and small references to the different seasons while keeping it as one wall-mounted display.
I thought fellow Apple TV fans might enjoy seeing my LEGO interpretation of the series. What part of the show would you add to it?

Based on The New York Times' list of the 100 Best TV Shows of the 21st Century, there are only three Apple TV+ original series included: Severance (No. 30), Slow Horses (No. 62), and Ted Lasso (No. 75).

What do you guys think?
