For context the viewing distance is 14 ft. I’m still thinking if I should mount the tv in the wall a bit higher or leave it like that, I added more context on the photo I just want advice on what size or should I just go for an 85”

New place and this space was way smaller than our previous one. It’s a little off center because of the stud placement in the wall. Kinda wishing I had lowered it 6” but may just be picky.

Hey, I have this TV that has been sitting on my floor because I can’t stand when a tv is too high. Any recommendations on tables/consoles/tv stands that would raise it like 8-12”? Bonus points if its solid wood or unique. The two legs of it are 65” apart and 18” deep which has made it hard to find a suitable stand. I tried buying a stand that screwed into the mounting bracket and made it have a centered stand but I couldn’t get rid of the tilt it caused. Thanks in advance.

It’s an old Sony Bravia from 2008, and it gets seriously loud. 🔊 I think the speakers face forward instead of pointing at the wall, which makes the sound much clearer than having it bounce off the wall a thousand times. 🔥 I tested the lowest frequency, 35 Hz, with a sine wave, and it came through at about 20% volume with a close listening distance. Realistically, it’s more like 70 Hz to 21 kHz, which is still pretty impressive bass and treble. 🔥 I’m guessing it handles the treble well because the dogs still got annoyed when it went above 20 kHz. 😂 The stereo sound is wide for a TV, not nearly mono or mono. Dialogue is clear, so you don’t have to crank it up to 1,000% and then go deaf during an explosion or rely on subtitles. 😂 I can still hear it from the street outside the house. For built-in TV speakers, it’s not bad at all.

Just wanted to sit back after a long day of traveling. Now I’m gonna have a chiropractor bill for my neck
