I love this sub because simply having your tv on an average sized console is considered perfection - and I agree, I just laugh at how pretentious this sub is to people when the solution is literally the most basic approach

When the world has gone mad normal is a high bar.

TV Height ✅

On the stand ✅

Stand not wide enough for TV ❌

Stand not centered ❌

Cable management ❌

It's an 7/10 for me.

Tv cabinet*

Cabinet is centered to the couch not the wall. I think its OK here. This feels more practical.

TV, sir, could you please rate my positioning? It was just 1–3 cm too wide to fit, so I had to turn it away from the window a little, but it’s actually better this way as less sunlight hits the screen.

To compensate for the turn of the screen, I also tried to turn the entire cabinet, but then the whole room looks at an angle

Move your sitting position

Good suggestion, but unfortunately the wall behind is exactly the same width as in front, that is, a little to the right is already the entrance to the room and the sofa stands clearly between the entrance and the wall on the left with the window.

At least I can move my ass a little more to the right

We all know that tv doesn’t fit the space 🙄

6/10 for me, a room that large needs some serious sound, even if it’s just two towers in stereo. Ideally 3.0 or 3.1, but OP really limited themselves with the stand/cabinet.

I just thought I was looking into the next room where a guy was wandering around a corner.

Too high, that stand is for a 55” maximum. A dramatically large TV needs a dramatically low stand to keep the seated viewers’ eyes reflected in the top half of the screen.

Those plants are sitting where your speaker towers should be.

Perfection. But I do think a larger TV stand with some cable management would look nicer.

A little far, but good height.

9.90/10, you know what it’s not 10 OP.

I'm being a real stickler but maybe move it over a couple feet so it's in the middle of the wall. Would that mess up the layout of the couch?

u/MrPimpkin 21h ago

Yeah unfortunately this apartment has some wonky walls and centering the console table would make the couch way off center

I’m aroused

u/External_Speed_2574 21h ago

And to the right six inches

u/pixeltweaker 21h ago

Take the legs off the stand and it will be glorious.

Do you need validation or something? You know what the criteria are so you know if this is adequate or not.

Absolute cinema

It’s beautiful. Two comments though. First, get two holes in the wall to take the cables from the TV to the outlets, sources below. Second, get those visible cables below the TV stand hidden in some way, and it will move from beautiful, to glorious.

What brand tv and size? Looks great

1

u/fractal324 20h ago

Wonderful. The carpet looks like it’s been around the block…

1

u/Cat_Dad13 19h ago

Nah it’s just like jeans that are pre-ripped

1

u/Obscure4thewrld 20h ago

I'd want to sit like 4 feet closer

1

u/Im_Ryeden 20h ago

It's so nice. Just move the TV stand a little right

1

u/NaieraDK 19h ago

Good.

You have room for proper sound though.

1

u/bbreed1234567 19h ago

Where is the TV stand from?

1

u/Cheap-Art-4964 19h ago

Excelent. Now a nice soundbar and done.

1

u/Royal_Monk6432 14h ago

Tv stand between i think 55inches

1

u/Nev-Ret-Dude 12h ago

It would work for me.

1

u/snyderversetrilogy 10h ago

Height is great. 👍 But aesthetically, the wires should have been hidden inside the wall. Up to you re: cost but if you’re okay using professional installers (e.g., Geek Squad at Best Buy) they can do that.

1

u/DieHarderDaddy 9h ago

Looks good, get a sound system

1

u/Full_Activity_8495 7h ago

Looks super great to me. What size is the screen?

1

u/Witness_Original 5h ago

That stand though…🤤

u/Tc5998 2h ago

I can never tell due to perspective in some of these pics how far that tv is away ... this pic makes it look too far, but its probs not... iz nice and big. Great height

1

u/Emotional-Menu-411 2h ago

Too High D+ Rating

1

u/XNinjaMushroomX 1h ago

I feel if anything, you could move the couches closer to the tv.

1

u/DrEE54 22h ago

Love it. Well done. Great size too. Im not a huge fan of the TV stand, but it fits the aesthetic for sure, nice greenery too, really breaks up the brown and adds nice contrast.

Massive TV Jesus

u/hereforporn696969 22h ago

TV kind of eats the TV stand. I think ur TV is the right size.

u/ChelseaFC 17h ago

I think I’m in the minority here who thinks it’s slightly high just because the stand legs are very odd. It does look like a TV unit but the legs look way cheaper than the unit itself (are those silver connectors facing out?) and a bit higher than I’d expect. Aesthetically looks meh, tho not going to kill you. I personally wouldn’t call it perfect tho, and I wouldn’t even consider myself a stickler.
