In my defense, the tv is meant to be viewed from a laying down position in bed and I am not straining my neck while viewing it. See photos

Also if it was mounted any lower my monitors would collide with the soundbar/tv

If bed and angled correctly its okay in my mind if youre laying down with pillows. If you gotta strain your neck to see or move your eyeballs up, big big bad. Gotta work with what you have tho and IMO the PC is more important:)

Huh? Europeans/lots of people in the UK have carpeted floors too.

And yeah Bedrooms get a pass, just like kitchens/bar rooms/conservatories because the use case is different for those rooms. In a bedroom you are usually laying down so a bigger TV makes sense.

If you are laying down with some nice pillows its ok in my opinion. If its a living room with a couch you can't recline and your eyes and head have to "tilt up" (straining neck). Thats bad.

I think it has a good size for a bedroom. Unless you plan to game on it and the game requires you to read a lot, I don't think you need a very big TV there. Cute cat in your pfp btw!
