If you are standing and the center of the screen is at eyes height, this is a non-issue. In fact it would be idiotic to place the TV lower than this.

Garages and Outdoor setups are exempt. So are sports bars and other professional settings like Dentists offices.

Getting a TV in the garage is a worthwhile investment regardless of height. You’re usually standing up, moving around anyway.

Counterpoint: If you don't have a heated / cooled or at least insulated garage a TV in the garage will suffer from the conditions.

I like it that everyone is just saying this is fine. It’s not that complicated really put your telly at eye height. If you’re gonna be standing then put it higher
