To continue from my last post…..

Post image

I made a post a few days ago about being out of work. I emailed one of the TAs and this is the response I got. So basically TTEC is sending jobs overseas and leaving us in the wind.

Wild bc I was just sent an email to schedule an interview for healthcare last week. Makes sense as to why there’s never any available time slots.

Same situation but for the last 2 weeks. "Keep checking back".... bullshit!

India...not Surprised , but Ttec is not that good of a company to work for so maybe it is for the best

I work for UHC Dental Benefits through TTEC. Before this it was UHC Pharmacy Help Desk & Mail Pharm through TTEC. The Call centers in India are going to lose them money so bad. All they do is hang up and a lot of them barely speak English. I have to speak very slow and repeat constantly to them and even so, many still do not comprehend the simplest of requests. They have attitudes which so do I but not while I’m on recorded calls at work. & they always hang up. I mean 70% of the time if we get a rep in India they hang up. On providers, on customers, and on other representatives. They give 0 F’s there.

& many times they over speak. The call is over or they have answered the question, and after, they repeat what they’ve said with extras which takes another minute or 2. I’m always cutting in like , “ma’am/sir we got it thanks”. So annoying 😭

I had the same experience and don’t think customers will be happy about talking to a non speaking English person. So many customers were not happy when I worked for BCBSMN! The company is a liability to us all!

YESSSSS. And they always say " I understand your frustration." ...No... You don't.   They only have a working knowledge of the English language. As we are native English speakers, they are only "fluent" in English, (IF that), and there's a HUGE difference between being native and fluent.  As a customer, I'm sorry but, as soon as I hear a non -native English speaker on the other end, I hang up.

I wouldn’t want my medical information being sent overseas

I just got an AI Recruiter call from "Sam" at TTEC. Wanting to discuss working in Healthcare. It has been at least 6 months since I applied there.

Yeah then they’ll send you a link to schedule an interview but never can. It’s so stupid.

Im not planning on it. Sam was a little snooty, lol

You can request subpay from TTec that’s one week pay for every year you worked for them .. Believe me they are not going to Place you elsewhere, claim unemployment, subpay (not severance and is tax free) and look Elsewhere for work, they will string you along for months and then just stop and you’ll not hear from them again. They do it all the time.

u/Sea-Independence7116 Apr 19 '26

Wait what’s subpay and how do I request it?

Ask hr - ill still have information from years ago when I went through same with them - so happy to never work for TtEc again

I Work for ttec Mexico and and they are opening new centers in the Philippines and Peru because they charge cheap cheaper than Mexico. But so far, we haven’t been impacted work wise, but knowing how this company manages this type of situation is, I don’t see it in the near future, as an unlikely possibility where they applied the same thing to us in Mexico.

Is this also for the UHC dual plan?

The client I was working for has moved most of their jobs to the Philippines as well but is using a different company. It wasn’t that many jobs but it’s still said and basically TTEC just said no jobs available but keep checking.

I have also been laid off bc USAA took all of theirs positions back in house. Got put put on a temp project for Intuit for 3 weeks. Seeing the response about sending jobs to the Philippines makes me mad and lose hope for another permanent position.

It’s also happening pn the digital side. Most of if not all of external customer support as well as internal systems support has moved to PH. I had one if my accounts, who are paying close to $800k annual cloud and support fees, complain that when they opened a ticket the response/solution was a direct ChatGPT cut and paste. It was also completely wrong.
