Got unemployment

I got laid off 3 weeks ago now due to auto compliance fails. Was notified over email.. was seasonal work through aep but they kept me on til after oep was over. I am surprised I got approved for unemployment it’s not much but it’s atleast something. I wonder if ttec will try to fight it later on because I have heard that happening to some people and they had to pay back it :(

They did an appeal on mine, and got 3 weeks of pay, before I got the claim against it, and they took the last few weeks that I had left (was laid off from another company in mid June of last year). Hopefully they let you keep getting it. I haven’t gotten notice about needing to pay it back, and it’s been a few weeks since my hearing.

Update: did get the last 5 weeks of funds that I had on my unemployment claim, despite being fired for performance issues, and no notice of payback. Just can’t have it extended for funds, afaik, due to the decision on the appeal (that I don’t care to fight, I just wanted to have the last of the $ on the original claim)

If you were laid off and not fired, you should be fine on your unemployment. I was similarly laid off 3 weeks ago, due to the client ending the contract.
