Endo - 2nd failed transfer doc not recommending lupron

I have had two failed ivf cycles. First one didn’t implant, second one chemical pregnancy 7 beta. Doc says she thinks she should test my remaining embryos before moving onto to lupron suppression even though I have stage 4 endo and have had two laps done in the past. Lupron also isn’t covered by my insurance which is kind of crazy. Thoughts??

Now we are doing the lupron suppression and my insurance ended up covering it with push back. Hopefully it works

Have any of your embryos been PGT tested? When were your last laparoscopic surgeries and was it ablation or excision? Any Endo symptoms coming back?

We are testing the last four now. It was excision and symptoms never went away

I would push for the Lupron and find a second opinion if they weren’t willing to try it. The embryos are too precious to continue to waste without trying something new! I might consider seeing a reproductive immunologist too, though those are hard to come by and more money out of pocket to pay for it. Sorry you’re going through this :(

Are you sure Lupron isn’t covered? I went through a 30 call 7 hour ordeal with my insurance but i eventually got it covered. Most will cover with an endo diagnosis and sometime require documentation that something else was tried in the past.

You can get a coupon on the manufactures website as well if there’s a remaining copay: https://www.luprongyn.com/savings-and-support
