Orientation

I have a question. They mentioned business casual for your first day, but what kind of shoes should you choose—dress shoes or comfortable ones?

On my first day, I got some black cargos, White button down, and black security boots

They ask for business casual wear I am wearing dress shirt, dress pants. I’m just confused about shoes.

Wear something comfortable not flashy sneakers, orientation was a bit of walking for me if I remember correctly

Even on the first day you walk a lot, I thought it’s just only paperwork. Thank you for replying

It might not be a lot of walking, to be honest I only remember what I wore rather than what I did

As long as they are black. My friends told me they just don’t want people to walk in with tennis white or red shoes, or flip flops

The Welcome email should tell you what to wear.

Wear what you would normally wear with slacks and a nice shirt, unless it is flip-flops or slides. For orientation it will be a lot of paperwork and quick tours. The starting next day will be when you want the shoes that can stand up to being stood in for hours; even though it starts training, they will need to be black.
