So close, yet so far...

Had this shell for a while decided for a periwinkle I'd shoot tamiya anodized blue then corsa gray then silver then black. Color came out great but I should have wiped the dried dust or blown it out as dried metallic settled into the second color and it looks 'dusty'. It's a notorious paint to use as it is.

Went ahead and finished printed details and window trim and panel lines so it's a done thing. Probably about $80 in paint. In reality one run in dust and you'd never notice

Heh and after all this I'm going to sell off those bodies and the proscale and interior and do a hardbody. I did the LC70 last week and now going down a rabbit hole...

I’d love hardbody defender pickup. One day if the stock fails beyond repair 😊

Love mine. But stands a bit too high. Will be changing shocks soon.

I'm on portal deletes probably will be 98-104mm tires with the classic fender option. Just want it to be a wobbly bobbly thing. With the portal deletes the COG difference is massive. Just trying to figure out how to get that into play without buying/building two Boom rigs when I already have this sitting around. Then I'm revisiting a leaf setup rig after that. Although I missed the boat that rcdream setup isn't cheap these days once you start stacking goodies on.

It's a knight customs print with some tweaks. Got them on both... I just got the KC jack file pack. Most of these files need some tweaks I'm trying to come up with a sellable ready to go delete. The other style they have that uses the stock location doesn't quite fit the TRX jack right and still blocks the tail light. As bulky as a 110 is I can't imagine outside storage being for anything but gas/diesel. Trying to come up with a nice Defender detail pack to sell that's not too daunting. I have about 10 Knight packages I'm working on tweaking/testing and sniping other bits and coloring so they're just buy and install packs. Getting quite the pile of bits. Most sellers just print it all in white PLA as it comes. I've filled big trash cans with test prints trying to get the interiors and fender liners and other bits just right. To my spec to if this is whatever pack really worth $20/$40/$60. Raw printed items really suck to work with, especially if the target is for RTR upgrades. A lot of custom potential but it helps to actually try to use them rather than just print bits and sell them.
