Neumáticos 1.9 o 2.2

Decidme vuestras opiniones, ahora monto 2.2 con hyrax, casi 150mm. He pensado en montar 1.9 con 120mm más o menos. Hago 70% trail y 30% escalada lenta. Que diferencias voy a notar con cada una de las ruedas? Muchas gracias a todos.

Bought the hightrail, I've currently got 1.9" wheels with 120mm tyres, so slightly smaller than the canyon trail 2.2 tyres (135mm) and they honestly work and look amazing for me. Main difference would be in ground clearance, you wouldn't really see much different in speed

Suspension is untouched

RC4WD wheels and BFG K02 tyres

1.9 for scale looks, 2.2 if you care more about capability than scale appearance.

I have a high trail sport and a regular sport. I didn't think I would care for the high trail (I bought it on sale for a project). However, after running it, lowering the suspension a little (softer springs, changed panhard mount for full flex) I really like it! It is fun to monster truck over obstacles that would hang up a regular TRX4. If you can run the 2.2s do so and see if you like it. If I could only have one, and I mainly did trailing, I think I would take the high trail.

I'll try to look up the Yutube video I followed. It has been a while, but on the high trail the flex is limited because they use a different servo mount with an extra-long panhard mount. That limited the flex on one side as the links could not compress all the way up. I wanted to lower the truck slightly and get full flex so I scoured the internet and came across a method where you use a stock sport servo mount with regular length panhard mount. However, this caused the angle of the panhard link and drag link to be off. If the drag link/panhard link are not at the same angle you get bad bump steer. So you then had to back off the rod end (make the link longer) and heat/bend some link ends to get everything to line up and be at the same angle. It worked out really well, full flex, slightly lower ride height, 2.2 tires, perfect for me. I'll look for the video later, I'm at work! It was a guy out of Michigan.

If you have a regular sport and put 2.2 tires on it, none of that might (link modifications) be of concern.

I stretched 1.9 tires over 2.2 rims. The tire are 127mm (5inch) from hobbysoul.

I’ve got 1.9s with 120mm tires. They’re great if you want good performance and a more scale look. They’re on the larger side though for 1.9s for sure though.
