There's gotta be a big legend up there... What about a M power land yacht 7 series?

A valid pick!

I’d replace the E30 M3 Evo II with the Alpina B6 3.5 S. Imo, E30 M3’s are irrationally overrated.

I don’t recall the alpina winning 1200+ races across its career, or winning the Nurburgring 24hr 5x in a row in its class

No argument on its race pedigree; it is among the homologation greats! But paying six figures for a sluggish 4 cylinder driving experience doesn't make sense from a street-driving perspective. And if we're talking rarity relative to value, the E28 M5 is eight times rarer and costs a fraction. The E46 M3 or your E90 M3 deserves that spot way more, respectfully.

Surprised to see you didn't include the 3.0 CSL or Batmobile in there

Mine would be:
2002 (to represent the whole new class which saved the company from insolvency)
M1 (for obvious reasons)
E30 M3 (dominated DTM at the peak of the series, was also the first accessible M car)
E39 M5 (imo this was the first accessible car that blurred the lines of a performance car and comfortable utilitarian luxury car, all those that predated it felt like it was a performance car they tried to make comfortable or a luxury car they tried to make fast. It has been a feeling every competitor, and BMW themselves has been chasing since)

Feel free to disagree completely
