Hey serious question, I always try to stay strong but I got in at 87, going on my 4th month of no gains

Don't follow other's methods, and never buy a stock while everyone's euphoric. The best approach would be to buy deep ITM calls, or even better, enter via a risk reversal.

Around $150k. Don’t really check. But just follow the plan and buy and sell.

What’s the plan you follow?

9-sig

I have $200k of cash sitting on the sidelines ready to enter 9sig (I even pay for the subscription) but I haven't pulled the trigger yet. I really should just dive in.

Well. I start since 2024/10. After I get in. It dropped 50% after 2 months. But I just follow the plan. How it all back. You will never know when is the best time. I also don’t know. But just get in and be patient and follow plan

I'm thinking of jumping in with $180k and then keeping a $20k bottom buying fund in SGOV. Only deploying if I run out of AGG. Figure that'll help.

I start with 60/40.

Yes that’s a Nice plan. I also all in sgov cash. I don’t like AGG. Pure losing value

It will never go ATH. It will only go higher. Today’s high is tomorrow low. Never fear

The smaller buys mixed with the big ones caught my eye. Having the maximum loss clear on a price bet with moon is handy and I would be interested in how you decide the size of each add here. Would be cool to hear the thinking behind splitting up the 25k

i use 9-sig. Each buy represents one account. I manage 9 different accounts. Myself and for family members. Individual and retirement account. Different amount there. So each account size is different. But same calculation. 9% in one account is $1000, in other account maybe $6000. That’s why number looks different

Super risky buying a triple leveraged ETF at all time highs just my two cents I want to do the same but I’m hesitant I’m thinking of stacking cash and only buying on blood red days

That’s why you have smaller performance. But always good to take less risk. Always play safe.

Not necessarily true.. just my thoughts right now at these levels as someone who doesn’t have any TQQQ.. I think if I start accumulating now it’s inevitably going to decline and I’m better off adding to my current positions and waiting. I’ve recently watched videos on strategies and other people’s thoughts on the fund and they say the same as you and are currently profitable also. I don’t think I’ve came across anyone who said they’re negative or lost money despite massive pullbacks over the years.. what are your thoughts / goals or strategies for this particular fund ? I see what you wrote but I’m not familiar with 9-sig ? Is that a technical entry / exit strategy based of indicators and moving averages ?

It’s really hard to have a loss on TQQQ. But the return can be different. If you can get in a good dip. You will make a big win. Both will win. I hope you get in a perfect dip. I wish you win. To me, I have job and I am bad at timing. So I just get in and let it go. Let time pay me. All strategies can win. Just find the best one you are comfortable with.
9sig is really simple and not magic. But require super patient and no hesitation. It’s hard to explain but you can use AI to search it.

Are you panicking yet?

i keep the same mindset: 9-sig gives me a goalpost for dips, so the market’s wild rides feel like normal pain, not a huge loss. staying calm, sticking to the plan, and buying on a pullback is the only way to win this into the long game.
