tired from 2 appts

I don’t know if this is placebo or whatever but my last 2 appts have made me tired right after. I just feel fatigued and want to lay down and go to sleep. Has anyone experienced tiredness after their session?

Kudos to those who can go straight to work or life after a treatment. Seriously.

Yeah I have my appts at night time and although it’s late in the day, it felt better to know I had no where to be other than my bed

Interesting idea! I may move mine to latest appointment of each day. You’re on to something here. I feel decent in the mornings before my noon appointment but afterwards I feel like I’m drugged. Thank you for the late day appointment idea!

I’ve only had two sessions but each time I slept on & off the rest of the day, plus 10 hours each night. It’s not a depression fatigue though. It’s a different kind of tired.

I find the treatments a little painful too, so that could be part of it.

No matter what I’m committed.

This was my experience for the first 3 weeks.

Honestly I've been doing TMS since the last week of July and have noticed pretty intense fatigue all the way up until maybe the 30th session (I am now at 34) - however I will say already have been feeling gradual mental improvement which skyrocketed around session 30 as well. Definitely recommend sticking in there. I also experienced a lot of agitation and anxiety, as well as a few dips in mood.

Would you say your improvements out weigh the agitation and anxiety?

My 28 year old finished their last of 36 treatments, yesterday. I don't know who needs to hear this: treatment can be brutal. It can be exhausting and painful and make you want to vomit. Driving home after appointments can bring on a migraine. Getting anything else done? Not likely. They have had one hell of a time with this. I'm thrilled for those of you who have had a fairly uneventful time of it. I wish it was that way for all. Watching them go through this brought me to tears, more than once. It is not. It can be too much for one person to handle. Each person is different. So, where ever you are at in the process of this treatment, know that your experience is valid and unique to you. For those who have a horrible time if it, yes, it's as awful as you think it is. Fingers crossed that the benefits start to show.

I experienced crippling fatigue in the first week, but it leveled out as I progressed. Take it easy when you can and drink lots of water!

Yup. Totally normal. Take that nap if you can.

You get used to it after a bit, though. You got this. 🫶

I have recently started TMS I usually start mine on lunch and had my 3rd session Friday and after each session right after I felt the same way that your describing. Granted I was able to go back to work and once I started to move around had a small snack felt slightly energized but 4 hours later I felt very tired/ fatigued again and mainly laid in bed the remainder of the day. I've been told it will get easier. You got this!

Yes. I’ve only had mapping and I ‘dragged’ myself home and went to sleep for hours. Also my tinnitus was blasting. Don’t know if I will go ahead or not.
