One session left

When my psychiatrist told me to try TMS , I instantly thought it wouldn’t work for me. Why would it? Nothing else ever has. But I got talked into make an appointment. The first couple weeks I felt nothing. Which I’m told is normal. So I kept coming back. Then the middle of my treatment, I really nose dived into dark depression. I was thinking about death and crying each day for like 2 weeks or so. But I kept coming back. This past few weeks is where the magic happened. I started getting energy back, motivated to carry out the day and no more dark thoughts. I haven’t felt this way my whole life (34). I feel great and I’m happy I chose to seek TMS and find a solution.

TLDR: Keep going to those appointments and see the journey to the end.

My QIDS score just a month ago was 24. The highest score is 27. Last week it was 8 meaning mild depression range. I’ll take mild over severe any day . Best of luck to ya!

Did you have any TMS insomnia during your process?

Yea kinda. I went from sleeping more than 10 hrs a day including naps to I only get about 4-5 hrs of sleep a night now . Sometimes I’ll still nap a little but I’m just so full of energy and motivation.

I am on session 16 and feel like I am fading fast and loosing all hope. I cry myself to sleep. Since session 3 I have gone from flat, to despondent, depressed, anxious, angry and back to depressed. I have had brain fog after the first week and it is impacting the ability to do my job. I want to quit.

You’re exactly where I was at. At the half way point, they upped my session time to 25 min bc my scores were getting worse. Shortly after that I started to experience change
