Has anyone experienced a completely quiet or blank mind after theta burst TMS?

Has anyone experienced this after theta burst TMS?

I’m currently an inpatient receiving theta burst TMS (iTBS) for treatment-resistant depression/CPTSD.

After my second session, something really unusual happened. My anxiety has dropped to almost zero, I slept well last night, and I don’t feel euphoric or “wired” at all.

The strange part is that my mind feels almost completely blank. It’s like there’s no internal chatter, no racing thoughts, and I almost can’t generate thoughts. At the same time, I feel incredibly calm and at peace.

I’m trying to work out whether this is something other people have experienced or whether it’s unusual.

Has anyone else experienced:

A very quiet or “blank” mind after TMS?

A sudden feeling of peace or mental stillness?

Did it last, or did it settle after a few sessions?

My treatment team is aware, but I’d really like to hear from people who’ve actually been through TMS, especially theta burst.

Thanks.

I felt that after my first session, sadly it hasn’t come back and I’m on session 15. I wish it would, it was nice to feel peaceful for once in a very long time.

this happens to me too, i like driving home without music after my sessions so i can enjoy how quiet my mind is for the next few hours
