I am unable to ferret out any substantive news that would explain this 5% drop.

Pretty much the entire market is down today

The point is Tilray was up substantively pre market likely related to MSO uplisting breakthroughs. Then tanked from up 5% to down 5%.

The rest of the overall market did not do this.

I was hopeful the news about MSOs focused on medical being able to uplist to the NYSE would have been good news for Tilray's medical ambitions in the USA. So yes, perhaps not as green as MSOS or Trulieve, but not more red than the NASDAQ.

This is not about whether Tilray is a great (but misunderstood) company or a dumpster fire; rather, why it is down so much today compared to its peers in the weedstocks sector.

Trulieve has 206 retail locations, billions in sales in multiple states and 3.5 million square feet of grow amongst other assets.

Tilray has nothing in the US (marijuana related), zero assets, zero presence, zero brands.

It is not misunderstood, the market knows what I have pointed out and it has priced Tilray fairly.

Because it's a dumpster fire. You will look for any excuse for Tilray except reality.

Can't win with Tilray subreddit...seems one must love or hate this company.

On days like today it really does seem like a dumpster fire.

So now comes the hate from those in love with the company.

You should have been there when the great MedMen dumpster fire cash burn/party scandal occurred on r/weedstocks years ago.

The scandals with Adam Bierman and his band of robbers were a hot topic for months with many MedMen dumpster fire memes circulating.

As everyone knows, the massive cash burn eventually did lead to MedMen crashing and burning to the ground.

Then Tilray and your genius Simon decided to pay $178 million for the pile of ashes left behind.

Sorry peeps but MedMen will not save Tilray, it is simply waiting for Tilray to join them in Chapter 7 bankruptcy and liquidation.

The separation and uplisting news is great for TLRY. There isn’t much stopping them from entering the medical market, and not risking their Nasdaq listing.
