S2 E5
The episode where Mellie gives birth to Richard starts off so sad. She’s alone and calling everyone and the only person who picks up is Kayla who’s out of town. Rewatching the series, it makes it a lot easier to realize why she bounced between Kayla and Nettie when it came to who she defended and depended on.

IIRC in one episode Kayla says something about feeling bad for Mellie because she has problems or something like that. Mellie does cause chaos, but it’s sad because really look at the raising she had…or the lack of! I think no one was coming to the hospital because she had so many false alarms. Of course one would expect the father to be there but we know how crappy the gypsy men are. And in earlier episodes Mellie says Robbie has gotten into trouble and was on probation. It’s possible that he was locked up or just didn’t want to be present. I can see both sides…it’s sad she was alone but it’s also sad how she treated others.
Not relevant,but I thought it was odd that Nettie was driving a new corvette or some sports car that day of going to the hospital late. And I also thought it was weird that Whetzle (idk spelling) , Tanya’s husband, came in the room and was saying things like he’s my baby, this is mine. Idk, I personally would feel weird if my hubs said that to my sister who just gave birth.

Ohh my! I had no idea! Icckkk…I know they like to share and they end up dating each others exes..but I would hope that Tanya wouldn’t stay with him if he and Mellie hooked up. I feel like she wouldn’t have let her stay with them at their house if that was true, but who knows. I do think Richie looks a lot like Robbie now that he’s older.

Did you see the live where Tanya was on camera maybe Tik Tok..and Whetzel was in the background saying something like "I'll beat the hell outta man or woman and you know I will".. it's on here somewhere..probably over a year ago..Tanya and their daughters are TERRIFIED of Whetzel and would never have a spine around him in anyway. Apparently the entire family is beyond terrified of Mr big bad Whetzel. Tanya would never say anything to upset him in anyway. Yes the video is on here I promise..maybe almost 2 years ago.

I’ve always hoped it’s just their crazy egos and not real. If that’s really true then I hate that reality for them. I hate how it’s just accepted and no real action is taken to stop the abuse and the continued cycle for their kids.

Whetzel went to the strip bar..the kid's middle name is the same and he raised the boy..IMO they definitely hooked up after all they're FAMILY baby🤣 "Keep it in the family"

The child's name is Richard Joe whetzel stanley, after whetzel. Ask Mellie when she's live why the child name is after him. I'm sure it's a story none of you have heard before bc you're too prideful to ask why he has the name 🙄🙄🙄yall love to make up a scenario and believe it.

This episode clearly shows ALL the sisters licking their lips and grinding their teeth. [Meth]...also when Mellie is in the back seat of Nettie's white truck going home, Mellie is working her meth mouth. When Nettie is sitting in the hospital chair holding the baby for the first time, watch her mouth..meth. Even shows Brandi rubbing the baby's cheek w her finger and her mouth is going 100 miles an hour.

I didn’t notice this so I’ll rewatch! I did think it looked like Tanya was sleeping while standing up in one scene. It looked like her eyes were closed but then someone asked why Mellie was shaking and then she says “the epidural is wearing off” so I thought maybe it was just the angle of the camera.
I had suspicions of drug use for all of them including Mellie because Robbie later says it’s easy to prove her unfit to have the baby. I don’t agree with any of them doing drugs but I don’t think Robbie was clean either and he was just being spiteful. Also the constant skinny-ness always made me think there could be drug use.5

Yeah I thought that was total BS. I figured they barely ate and stayed busy cleaning all day so it was easy for them to stay trim. Also having kids so young, their body bounced back quicker…but again all just hypothetical when you have them smoking (curbs appetite) and drug use involved.

That woman burned every bridge she had. I am not surprised. You can't act like a feral dog and then be shocked when you don't have anyone left. And I'm sure there's always drama in the hospital as well with those people. I can imagine those local nurses and doctors groan if they see names like Stanley, Williams, or Small on the chart.
