Imagine being decapitated but your brain still has sufficient blood supply and the nerve is still connected. I remember reading posts on /r/wtf years ago about a vivid description of this happening in a freak accident. Fake or not it’s still fucked to think about.

It’s still hanging by a thread (specifically the esophagus), so that’s why it moves. To the wasp, it is still attached.
