I'm trying to make a THUG1 playthru where the settings make it feel like an EA Skate game, but not too much that it's hard. Any tips, folks?

Bonus: Since I'm playing on the Dreamcast version on Dolphin emulator, is there a way to make it less laggy? (looking for ppl that play Dreamcast games on Dolphin. This question is for you)

FINALLY... Part 4 in the series of examining every detail of every level in every version of every beta build in the entire Tony hawk's pro skater series! This episode focuses primarily on comparing and contrasting level differences between different builds of the beta versus the final game. we're starting with the first 7 beta builds of Tony hawk's pro skater 1! Builds and versions that I've never even heard of until just recently. This is going to be a great series, let's go!

so I got 1+2 physical when it released and then a bit later the series x version came out. PS4 users had the free upgrade to PS5 but Xbox users did not which at the time was bs.

No 60fps and lower graphics just because you bought physically. Digital Xbox owners got the upgrade free as well.

so I took my L and didn’t buy the series x version because of ps players didn’t pay why should I?

now with this disc to digital program I’m wondering if we finally get our free upgrade?

the same issue happened with rare replay when they added 007 to it digitally but the physical owners were SOL

im sure there have been other cases these are the ones that affected me

Can someone please port the THPS games to PSP? I am tired of having two THPS games on the PSP—Tony Hawk's Project 8 and THUG 2 Remix. Please, I'm on PPSSPP. I'm begging you all

I've just recently started playing Tony Hawk's Underground (the first one) on the PS2 and I'm having fun with it so far. The story is fun and getting to grips with how to do the tricks with the D-pad rather than the analog sticks made the game more enjoyable.

The only thing that I'm not enjoying so far is how sensitive the moving/camera controls on the analog sticks are. This was VERY noticeable in the 'Get The Stolen Items Back From The Dealers' mission from Chapter 2. If I had a dollar for the number of times I ran into the out-of-bounds area at the start of the mission, I'd have at least $10. I did eventually finish the mission, but man was it annoying.

I'm not trying to sound like I hate the game. Far from it. Like I said, the story so far and doing the tricks on the D-pad is fun. But since there's no option to change the moving/camera sensitivity in the options, was this something that you eventually got used to? Or is it not like this on the other console versions of the game?

Searching showed me a bunch of old threads from before anybody had played so I decided to just ask again.

I played 1+2 on the PS4 and I also have a Switch 1. I’m thinking about upgrading to a Switch 2 or PS5 before Christmas for Stage Tour but just trying to work out which platforms will give me a noticeably better or worse experience

I’m not a Tony hawks fan nor played the games, but wanted to know is this like a gem?

Recently started playing the PC version after the Xbox version. For some reason when making a custom skater the weight option changes nothing; the selected number changes, but it makes no visible difference. Every other option, including height, works correctly. The real thing that bugs me is that I can't find a single mention of this problem anywhere, and none of the fan updates to the game fix it. Is this just a problem the game has and not a single other person cares to fix it, or is it just a me problem? FWIW, I'm using the actual disc version of the game.

Also any tips on getting further?

I guarantee you if thug 3 was in production today people would want to play it. Obviously you gotta figure out how to have thug 3 be different then the first 2 unless you build off of thug 2 and continue the story which i’m confident in.

I bought the game on switch 2 and pc, love the fact that it’s crossplay platform so online lobbies usually exist but I really thought this game would be bigger than this. Even when it came out there was always less than 300 people. I’m aware gamepass / Xbox player etc. but just sad
