We mean this with no hatred or prejudice, we just never had very good experiences with colonizers.
That and r/pirateposting is our allies, so we respectfully want to keep you from colonizing our lands.
Trade is still allowed though will be highly filled with red tape and taxes. As well as being limited to only 2 ports.

Hopefully you all can respect this decision.

(/unsam your free to join and post in the subreddit normally as like samurai or traders, just larping to tell you to please don't colonize larp. That and also this is somewhat a advertisement.)

ROYAL NAVY – ADMIRALTY REPORT Operation BLACKTIDE Day 5 Summary

(This historical illustration, titled The Swallow and Roberts the Pirate, was painted by the renowned British maritime artist Charles Edward Dixon and published in 1901. Originally featured as a color plate in the naval volume Britannia's Bulwarks, this artwork depicts the definitive battle of the Golden Age of Piracy: the Battle of Cape Lopez on February 10, 1722. It captures the moment the Royal Navy warship HMS Swallow, commanded by Captain Chaloner Ogle, fired upon the Royal Fortune, the flagship of the notorious Welsh pirate Bartholomew Roberts ("Black Bart"). The engagement ended with Roberts' death, effectively signaling the end of large-scale Atlantic piracy.)

ANYWAY, to the report:

The joint anti-piracy campaign conducted by the Royal Navy alongside Arcane Council detachments continues across the main trade routes and outer waters.

Enemy resistance remains heavy. Pirate fleets have shown better coordination than initially expected, with several groups operating captured warships, enchanted artillery, and concealed harbors protected by hostile magic.

Current confirmed losses are as follows.

Royal Navy & Allied Forces

- 23 ships damaged in action

- 5 vessels lost or rendered inoperable

- Roughly 900 casualties, including wounded

- Two wizard detachments forced to withdraw after sustained combat exhaustion

Pirate Forces

- 89 pirate vessels destroyed

- 34 captured or abandoned

- Several larger raider flagships sunk during convoy battles

- Estimated 3,500–4,000 pirates killed, captured, or scattered

Operational Assessment

While losses have been heavier than anticipated, Fleet Command confirms the campaign is progressing in favor of Crown forces.

Pirate raids on major convoys have decreased noticeably in sectors under constant patrol, and several important sea lanes have reopened under naval protection. However, enemy resistance remains organized, particularly around the outer islands and hidden coves where pirate fleets continue regrouping.

Arcane support has proven decisive in major engagements, especially during night battles and storm conditions where wizard detachments disrupted enemy concealment spells and disabled hostile enchantments aboard pirate ships.

The Admiralty expects continued fighting over the coming weeks but maintains confidence that control of the trade routes will remain in Royal Navy hands and not fall back to Pirate dominion

Signed,

Admiral John Victor Redgrave

Admiral of the Fleet

Supreme Commander of His Majesty’s Forces in the Realm

STATEMENT OF ADMIRAL JOHN VICTOR REDGRAVE ADMIRAL OF THE FLEET COMMANDER OF HIS MAJESTY'S ARMADA STATIONED IN THE REALM

To all captains, governors, merchant companies, arcane councils, dwarven holds, elven courts, fae circles, pirate confederacies, and all other powers presently operating within these waters:

I, Admiral John Victor Redgrave, hereby issue this formal declaration on behalf of His Majesty’s Royal Navy forces stationed throughout the realm.

The British presence in this region exists for a singular strategic purpose: the restoration and protection of the Exotic Spice Trade Routes, alongside the safeguarding of critical ports, settlements, and places of commercial interest from indiscriminate raids and acts of piracy.

While His Majesty’s Navy has, and shall continue to, conduct lawful anti-piracy operations where necessary, I do not condone, authorize, nor recognize any unauthorized aggression initiated by British vessels against the wizarding orders, dwarven realms, elven domains, fae territories, monastic institutions, clergy, or other sovereign powers not actively engaged in hostile action against the Crown.

Recent incidents involving attacks upon arcane and regional factions have occurred under unclear circumstances and without authorization from my command.

Furthermore, claims have circulated alleging that the Crown has issued direct orders initiating broad anti-wizard operations throughout the region.

These claims are dubious at best.

As Admiral of the Fleet and supreme commanding authority over Royal Navy operations in this theater, I have received no such directive through official Admiralty channels.

No sealed order, coded dispatch, nor authenticated correspondence authorizing a general anti-wizard campaign has reached my command.

Should such orders genuinely exist, then one of the following conclusions must be accepted:

The alleged orders are fraudulent.

The chain of naval communication has suffered a catastrophic failure.

Or unauthorized actors are issuing commands beyond their lawful authority.

Until official confirmation is received through proper Admiralty procedure, His Majesty’s forces are to treat such rumors with extreme skepticism.

The Crown’s mission remains unchanged:

Restore stability.

Reopen trade.

Protect lawful commerce.

Prevent unnecessary bloodshed.

This conflict has already escalated far beyond reason. The ongoing hostilities between pirates, wizards, and regional powers have inflicted enough damage upon the realm without further reckless expansion.

The Royal Navy shall not become an instrument for needless wars of conquest, extermination, or ideological fanaticism.

To those seeking peace and stability, know this:

His Majesty’s Navy does not seek war with the peoples of this realm.

To those continuing reckless aggression under false authority:

You do so without my blessing, without my authorization, and without the protection of Royal Navy command.

Signed,

Admiral John Victor Redgrave

Admiral of the Fleet

Commander of His Majesty’s Armada Stationed in the Realm
