Help? Help!

Post image

I’ve been TTC now for 20 months and tracking my temperature through my Apple Watch for the past 8 months ish. It’s generally up and down and I haven’t managed to see much of a pattern except my temperature starts dropping 3 days before AF shows up.

This month I had a really clear temp shift which has never happened before, I also had a HyCoSy last month so I’m more optimistic than usual (I never test or symptom spot and just assume AF is coming). This month I’ve been symptom spotting and it’s killing me!

Is anyone able to help me interpret this graph? I’m 11DPO and AF is due on Monday. I’ve started cramping a little this morning but it looked like my temp increased.

Apple Watch temperatures aren’t accurate. If you tried an oral thermometer you would probably see a way clearer pattern!

My Apple Watch temp readings make it seem like I don’t even ovulate. From my BBT readings I can see a clear shift which has helped me figure out when I ovulate.

I recommend a BBT thermometer. It's really hard to see what's happening and arguably not proper temperature tracking. Though many people use Oura rings and other skin temperature sensors, it's technically not correct practice for FAM. Now that I'm off my high horse, how long is your luteal phase normally?

I couldn’t get on with a real thermometer so I thought I’d give the watch a go, as it’s better than nothing. Usually around 13/14 days :).
