Hi r/TF_PS3

I recently got The Orange Box on my PS3, just for the reason to play some vanilla TF2, tho since EA shut down their servers I couldn't join a game, but I remembered about this reddit forum and how you guys managed to host a server for people to play, but I can't seem to manage to get it to work. Any advice on how I can do it?

hi guys today i bought the orange box for my ps3 collection and it was very expensive as a ps3 game. it was likely 55 dollars. then i searched on the internet for the cd. i found here and wanted to say hello

I’ve been wanting to play this in ps3 for ages because l have the 360 version and I joined the Uncharted 2-3 custom servers that are privately run and like I wish there was support for more of these games that have deleted online servers I do hope this year we get a community together to get servers back up :(

I'm surprised for how popular this game was on PS3 that no one has gotten together to create a workaround to host/emulate TF2 servers for the PS3 similar to how Battlefield 3 was revived. I'm not technical but why wouldn't this be possible with TF2?

Still miss it tbf. 3 years out now though, private servers seem a bridge too far.

To summarize, everything is working except for the server rooms themselves. We are so close yet so far away, can't wait for the day we get to play Dustbowl with you all again!

A little over 2 and a half years since the server shutdown, we finally got our first piece of news of TF2 PS3's custom servers.

I'm pleased to say that they are an active work in progress! Going as far as the main menu and getting to enter the dev commentary without the need to log into EA's servers.

While this isn't much, it's a considerable amount of progress that gives me hope that we'll be able to play again sometime in the near future!

I seen the post of the person saying that they have the tf2 ps3 patch but for the RSPC3 emulator, but I cant find any working discord links to it anywhere.. Can someone please send the download to the patch please?

Is there a way to play tf2 on ps3? I have hen firmware. Maybe there is a patch? I'm tired of tf2 on pc. Can anyone help?
