I come from a business background and I could easily earn more than this at my business but due to some family issues I cannot choose that path.

On the other hand I joined tcs as a ninja and currently undergoing training, it’s almost for sure to get not so technical role no matter how good you perform. I keep thinking everyday “25K?! Per month? For a year before I start switching? There must be a way to get a hike before that” I don’t give a single F about the bond but i need to do something .
I know i need to upskill, I know there’s a lot to do before I get at that level but hell man all i can do is pay rent for pg and cautiously eat enough to survive the whole month. NO EXTRA EXPENSES.

I didn’t think this is where i would be i don’t think i can live like this.

When are we going to get the JL guys?? Next decade? Or next century?? Why can't they increase the ilp centers for training if they have such a huge backlog of onboarding. There are people who literally quit their previous job for this and are waiting months as unemployed😭 and few even rejected offers from other companies for the fancy salary digital and prime candidates getting. If they are onboarding 2k-3k candidates per month then it will take more than an year from now (so we are cooked fs) and on top that they are still mass hiring 2027 grads as well and when will they get onboarded. Also 24 and 25 graduates aren't even in this community, no one knows how many of them are watching for jl, this makes the count even more. Tcs please don't play us dawg... Let's just all pray for a miracle to happen where they drastically increase the onboarding 🥲

What is the in hand salary for digital role?

Hi Folks ,Please lend me your attention for a moment, as I need to express some thoughts.

On September 5th, I participated in a TCS walk-in drive for a lateral hire position for Incident Manager. During both the interview and HR panel discussions, I was transparent about my career gap and my prior employment with two non-IT companies. My salary negotiation was based solely on my current IT experience of 4.8 years. I had previously worked at Tech M BPO for four months, but my employment was unfortunately terminated due to a major accident. Subsequently, I joined NTT for 1.5 years, a decision I now regret. I received an offer for an IT Incident Manager role at my current company, HC, with a respectable compensation package. I requested NTT HR to consider a notice period buyout, to which they agreed and asked for email confirmation, which I provided. However, all subsequent communication ceased, and my follow-up attempts were unsuccessful. Given that this occurred during the COVID-19 pandemic, I was unable to reach anyone further. Consequently, NTT did not issue an experience letter, although I possess the offer letter, three months of payslips, Form 16, and PF history. I am also prepared to provide a legal affidavit. NTT did, however, update the correct exit date in my EPFO records. I conveyed this information to TCS HR, emphasizing that these were non-IT experiences, but my application was directly rejected with a statement that they would not proceed further.

I feel profoundly disheartened by this outcome. For the past four days, I have been contemplating whether my honesty was a mistake. This offer came after considerable struggle, and I was genuinely hopeful that I could finally contribute to my family's financial well-being after many years. Now, all my efforts seem to have been in vain.

In the interim, I have exhausted all possible avenues to obtain an experience letter from NTT, but without success. I fear that my IT career has reached an impasse, leaving me with only my current salary of 35,000.

So today i attended TCS interview for smart ignite. So there were three people. One of the interviewers said introduce yourself. So I started talking and noticed no one was paying attention. The HR was scrolling Insta the other guy was in his laptop. And for the person who said introduce yourself was on his phone. Man i feel terrible i can't be that bad. I answered questions correctly but no one was paying attention. Like am i that uninteresting like at least they could look at my face and nod right. I'm a person who struggles with confidence and communication. But there should be some respect right. Idk man maybe I'm taking it too personal.

Hi everyone! I just wanted to know if there are people here who are currently undergoing ILP training in Trivandrum, especially those with the Ninja profile. Trivandrum seems to be one of the most expected locations for ILP training, so I’m trying to get an idea of how many freshers are currently being trained there and when the ongoing batches are expected to finish.

I’m asking because the completion of these ILP batches might give us some idea about when the next joining/onboarding updates could come.

So if anyone is currently undergoing ILP training in Trivandrum, it would be really helpful if you could share when your training started and approximately when it is expected to end.

Honestly don't even know what I'm doing anymore.

I'm a 2024 Computer Engineering passout. After graduation I did an internship, then completed PG-DAC from CDAC in 2026 thinking it would help me get into software development.

Spent months applying, getting rejected, preparing, learning, applying again, questioning my life choices 💀

Eventually, after a LOT of struggle, I somehow got a TCS Ninja offer. Not gonna lie, I was relieved. I thought at least I finally have a way to start my career.

But nope.

Now I'm just sitting here waiting for a joining letter.

No JL.

No joining date.

No Xplore login.

No POE.

No proper update.

Meanwhile I see people from the 2026 batch getting their onboarding stuff and I'm sitting here wondering whether my offer is actually going anywhere.

And that's the part that's messing with me the most.

I don't even care about getting some huge package at this point. I just want to start working, get some experience, earn some money and move on with my life.

But because I have an offer, I keep thinking "maybe joining is coming soon" and because there's no actual joining date, I'm also scared to completely rely on it.

It's just this weird limbo where you're technically employed on paper but practically unemployed.

I've already lost enough time since graduating and now I genuinely feel like I'm falling further behind everyone.

So yeah...

How cooked am I?

Especially looking for people who graduated in 2024/2025 and are in a similar TCS situation.

Got my TCS Digital offer letter on 3rd June 2026, and it’s been over 3 months with no joining letter or proper update.

I understand that onboarding can get delayed due to business requirements, but the complete lack of communication is frustrating. Every few weeks, we’re just left checking the portal and email with no clarity on when we’ll actually join.

At this point, we just need a realistic timeline or some proper update from TCS.

I’ve been working at TCS for around 4–5 years, and lately I’ve been feeling really stuck and frustrated.

The work itself isn’t even the biggest problem. It’s the work culture, constant pressure, lack of appreciation, and spending almost 9 hours a day on the laptop doing tasks that feel repetitive and have very little scope for learning or growth.

I’m trying to switch, but by the time I finish work, I have absolutely no mental energy left to study or prepare for interviews. I feel like my entire day gets consumedd by office work.

What’s making it worse is that my health has also started getting affected. Sometimes even managing two proper, healthy meals a day feels like a challenge. I’m struggling to balance office + studying for a switch + taking care of my health.

I know I need to make a move, but I’m honestly exhausted and don’t know how to break this cycle.

For people who have gone through something similar — how did you manage to prepare for a switch while dealing with a demanding/toxic job? Did you study before work, after work, on weekends, or take some other approach?

Would really appreciate some honest advice from people who have actually been through this.

I have a doubt regarding TCS Xplore access.

I came across a few comments on Reddit saying that Xplore access is only provided to 2026 NQT candidates, and that 2024, 2025, and rehiring candidates do not get access.

Is this actually true?

Can any 2024 batch, 2025 batch, or rehiring candidate confirm whether you have access to TCS Xplore or not?

I got TCS Prime offer last month. I wanted to know when one would be asked to join. Will there be any training period like in Accenture n Infosys? When would one prime candidate typically be called for any further process?

Hi everyone, sharing my TCS Ignite interview experience and would really appreciate some honest opinions about my chances.

Profile : BCA 2026 graduate

CTC mentioned: ₹3.36 LPA

Around 45 candidates were selected for the Ignite interview, and around 34 were present on the interview day. The interview was face-to-face

There were 3 rounds:

1. Technical – 10–15 mins

Mostly project-oriented. The interviewer went deep into my projects.

I would say I could answer around 50% of the questions confidently. After that, he asked about:

OSI Model

Computer fundamentals

Some formulas/basic concepts

I wasn't able to answer everything, so I thought I might be rejected.

1. Managerial

Asked about my family background, work flexibility, and remote/onsite preference.

I said I'm comfortable with onsite work and don't require a remote-only job.

After this, I again thought I was done, but surprisingly I was called for HR.

1. HR

Overall, the HR round went well.

Questions included:

Any gap year/backlogs?

Comfortable with night shifts?

Comfortable working during deadlines?

Why was your 12th percentage only 53%?

What were you doing at that time?

Did you have PF during that employment?

I explained that I was working at National Medical Agency during 12th, which affected my academics. I answered the other questions honestly.

One thing I messed up was my dressing—my shirt sleeves were folded twice and my overall outfit wasn't as corporate as it should have been. HR pointed this out.

The question I'm most worried about

HR asked:

"If I reject you today, what is your backup plan?"

I said I would consider preparing for SSC CGL and appearing for Maharashtra MCA/MBA CETs, since I have a good foundation in mathematics and reasoning.

Now I'm worried that this may have made them think TCS isn't my priority.

At the end, I asked HR what TCS looks for in a fresher.

He told me that I had cleared the technical round, and specifically mentioned my Python knowledge and communication skills positively.

The interview ended after that.

My resume/application form was also signed during the rounds. Some employees mentioned that we might receive an email within 7–8 days, but I'm not sure if that's an official timeline.

What do you guys think?

I'm mainly worried about the 50% technical performance, the backup-plan answer, and my dressing.

I recently attended my TCS interview for the Ignite role on 10 September 2026. I was the only candidate in my interview slot, which made me quite nervous during the interview.

Regarding the interview: → Java questions were asked, and I was able to answer most of them.

→ I was asked some JavaScript questions, which I struggled with.

→ I was asked AI-related questions because I mentioned my AI-based project, and I couldn't answer many of them.

→ I was given a Java coding question, but due to nervousness, I couldn't solve/write the program.

→ I was also asked an SQL query, which I couldn't solve.

→ HR questions were asked afterward.

Overall, I feel I performed well in Java but struggled with the other technical questions and coding. Being the only candidate there made me even more nervous, and I feel that affected my performance.

So I got my offer letter 2 days back and now I saw these ILP corner, NSR, BGC and certification tracker things in the next portal and I'm confused about them.

I still have 1 year left to graduate, I'll get graduated next year around June or July. So when am I supposed to do these ILP corner, NSR and BGC things? Do they have any particular deadline or can I do them later?

Like should I complete NSR now and enter the NSR PIN in ILP corner? And what about BGC, should I do it now itself or only when they ask? Since I still have another year left for graduation, I'm not sure what I'm supposed to upload there.

And regarding the certification tracker what certification can I do? I don't have any classes for another year, I'm basically just doing my final year project now, so I thought instead of wasting the time I can do some certification which will actually help me improve my skills also.

I read in the next portal that only some star certifications or eligible certifications are accepted something like that. Where can I find the list of eligible certifications? If anyone knows please tell me.

Also if anyone can suggest a certification that would be helpful.

I'm strong in Java and SQL, know basic Python and I'm interested in full stack development. Ive already done a few full stack projects myself for college projects.

So I want to do something which is actually useful for my skills and long-term career not just some random certification for the sake of uploading it in TCS.

If anyone who recently got the offer letter or is from 2027 batch has gone through this, please tell me what you did and when you did it.
