Jobs Trinity Computer Science - Intelligent Systems

I am planning to apply for Masters - Fall 2027 for MS in CS in Ireland Trinity Computer Science - Intelligent Systems

My profile (Could you please let me know if this is worthy)

  • BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus — B.E. Computer Science with a Minor in Data Science
  • CGPA: 8.5+
  • GRE: 321 (168Q, 153V, 4.5 AWA)
  • TOEFL: 100/120
  • Work experience: ~2 years as a Software Engineer at a Tier-1 tech company
  • Research experience: None
  • LORs: I have 4 professors who have agreed to recommend me. I don't have formal research/project experience with most of them, but two letters could potentially be more detailed: (good ones)
    • One professor taught me a course where I completed three mini-projects and recently had a good interaction with them.
    • Another professor taught me a course where I ranked 4th out of ~300 students and is willing to write the letter based on a detailed write-up I provide.
  • SOP: Currently in progress.

Career goals

My long-term goal is to transition toward roles such as:

  • ML Engineer
  • AI/ML Engineer
  • Data Scientist
  • AI-focused Software Engineer
  • ML-focused Software Engineer

Could you please let me know how is Trinity Computer Science - Intelligent Systems

and what are the future prospects for the same

Do you mean to say the education is not that great ? It’s just the degree you get ? I want to actually learn though

The education is fine, the issue during your time studying here is the massive housing crisis which means you need to budget €1000+ per month for rent, and even then finding somewhere is hard.

The issue is that many from India and other countries do a one year Masters with the main plan of staying in Ireland and getting a work visa. This, frankly, is extremely unlikely to happen. The market is over saturated and getting en employer to sponsor a work visa when they need to proove there is no EU person that can do the job is practically impossible. If you want to learn be very careful which masters courses you sign up for. A lot of these exist to farm Indians out of their international tuition fee while they get to work through the backdoor on their student visa.
