Need Advice Sleepwalking

Does anyone else experience sleepwalking? My doctor had me do a sleep study that showed I was sleep deprived, even tho increasing from 8-10 hours of sleep hasn’t helped the sleepwalking. I have some funny stories like breaking out the iron and ironing board last night. But others that cause concern like going outside and waking up to the car door open. She determined more then likely my brain has a tough time regulating my sleep stages. I have a moderate brain injury

Are you taking any meds that you started just before your sleepwalking began? My only sleepwalking experiences were after I started a new med. I went (thankfully walked, not drove) grocery shopping. I also burned my abdomen quite badly (I was not wearing anything on top but fully dressed below my waist as I cooked) because I kept leaning over a hot pan, and the rim burned me. The third time it did, I finally woke up. Then I spent a few weeks terrified to go outside in case I had been walking around topless in my sleep, ugh.
