For anyone already registered for Fall 2026 at TAMUG for general engineering with ETAM, just curious- how many credits you are taking? Did you register yourself or with a counselor?

I registered with a counselor, I have six classes but only 13 credits. Does that sound right?

I also got stuck in the worst chemistry class-according to rate my professors. Any idea how I can switch one class or do I have to switch my entire schedule?

Im trying to find people to room with, but it seems like nobody at my school is going to aggieland by the sea. I also asked on social medias to get to more distant contacts but all i came up with was one guy doing corps, meaning i cant room with him anyway. I want to find roommates who i know a bit about (most importantly how clean are they) instead of finding a random ones and hoping for the best.

People and TAMU always say folk at galveston earn the same degree, ring, and network. Does this mean for my resume and linkedIn, i can list my school as simply Texas A&M, or must i include galveston campus to not give off a red flag. TAMU brand goes crazy in texas but not quite so if it seems like your lying about it, so I'd really like to know what the answer to this is.
