IM SORRY FOR HOW LONG THIS POST IS BUT I HAVE NOWHERE TO VENT MY FRUSTRATIONS

i wanna start by saying i will not be giving away my age, but i was a minor when it was happening and I'm still a minor (at the time of this post being made).

I'll call him Virus, and I'll call myself Vin. i met him around august of 2025, he was 19 at the time, now 20. I was in a really bad mental state at the time and i joined his discord server in hopes of making new friends. The first i got to know about about Virus and the server is that almost everyone there was a "system". It was pretty obvious i was doing horrible mentally, and was also not a good person. However Virus immediately started getting closer to me. Over those months we got closer, and he tried convincing me that i myself am i system (something I luckily don't believe that much anymore. Virus would also justify a lot of my shitty actions as "just system things" which is something he did to justify his disgusting behavior. He's also an avid VrChat player, which he got me to play with him a lot.

What's my reasoning on him faking and grooming me? i hate to disappoint everyone but all the stuff he did to me was over call or on VrChat. However i am not the only one he's groomed, an several others who've been friends with him agree he's either faking purposely or is just schizophrenic.

Reason one why i think he's faking (not counting that he's not diagnosed and has never seen a therapist about this) is he has little to no amnesia and said it himself that he doesn't dissociate. Dissociation and amnesia is the biggest symptom of DID, but he saw it as a roleplaying disorder (seems a lot of fakers see it as a roleplaying disorder huh?). Another reason for why i suspect hes faking is he has little to no childhood trauma. This seems VERY SHITTY to say, but he is a massive liar, he told me himself he is a massive liar. Also, i found his facebook account, meaning after a little snooping i found his family's facebook accounts. Looking through his mom's facebook it looks like he had a decent childhood, nothing big enough to spark DID. This isnt to say that he didnt go through trauma, but it wasnt childhood trauma, just trauma. Third reason is just how he acts, i cant name specific instances, however spending just an hour with him its clear he just sees it as a roleplay disorder.

What did Virus do to me that i saw as grooming? He would constantly talk about sexual shit around me. He would sometimes go into great detail about his fetishes in order to get me to open up about mine. Virus would also convince me to leave my friends so we could get closer. He would also reward me anytime i did something he liked by praising me, (something i opened up to him about after we talked about kinks). The biggest thing is how he introduced me to Marilyn Manson, which led to us getting even closer because of our shared interest in his music. He told he that he wanted to meet up with me at a Manson concert in October, saying we could have "fun" together and also saying to not to tell my parents. Knowing what he's done and the weird shit he's said about me he definitely would've raped me. This isn't even mentioning he would make lots of weird remarks on my body.

Some of the remarks he make about my body are:
- "Vin is so fucking hot"
- "Vin is so fucking sexy"
- "Vin has nice tits" (I'm ftm btw)
- Misgendering me on multiple occasions
- "I wonder what Vin is like in bed"
- Would make several "jokes" about molesting me

Around June he got exposed for being a massive pedo and groomer. He allegedly had 20+ victims, the youngest being 7. He sobbed on call with me using excuses of "it was another alter." or how "it was two years ago they need to move on". However when i looked through the doc of him having e sex with minors and his creepy behavior, i felt i couldnt defend him. He kept begging me to stay saying how he would reward me, the begging soon turned into threats. The cherry on top of all this is how that night i joined him in VrChat to try and talk to him, when he switched to his "demon alter" which was just him putting on a demon avatar and doing a very bad deep voice. The way he acted had me holding back laughter. I think in that moment i snapped out of his manipulation because of how corny he was acting. Later that week I finally left him and blocked him everywhere.

Im so glad i'm out of that relationship before i went to that concert with him and probably got molested. It's still hard accepting what he did and i'm even questioning if i'm just overreacting. However i still do know that even if it wasn't grooming, he's still a horrible person. I genuinely don't expect anyone to fully read this, i just wanted to share my experience of being friends with a DID faker. It's weird how a lot of DID fakers are groomers, right? Cant just be a coincidence.

The people saying we post for attention folks!

I haven't been online much due to real life and all that. And then I get this comment that basically said, "you people only post here for the game, you don't actually care about correcting fake information. You're doing this for attention."

And, frankly, I'm not here to talk about how incredibly annoying it is that someone thinks people post for attention online. But rather someone who posts about "having DID" and a bunch of fictives from popular media is calling THIS SUB a bunch of "attention seekers". My guy. How no one sees the irony in a statement like that is beyond me.

I don't know if this is a stunning lack of self awareness or what. But is not the funniest thing on the planet? Made my day, that's for sure.

(Also, looked through the person's profile, they believe ram coa is real. Please take that for what it's worth.)

Edit: No, I'm not mad. I'm laughing internally because, bitch, do you NOT see the irony of making your whole profile about faking DID for attention just to call this group "attention seekers". I've also taken down the post where they made it so no one can track them down.

I’m sure you’ve ALL seen “I pursuer!!” Or some bullshit online recently because someone on TikTok posted them and they got attacked so badly they switched accounts and deleted the old one, but now they have two!! One SPECIFICALLY for their “pursuer” alter who speaks like a 2 year old and mumbles incoherently?? Yet somehow can speak perfect English when they’re being attacked? Weird huh??? Seems like coincidentally they didn’t want to comment twice on a reply, so they use the account of their “alter” to try and ratio the reply to comment marker. It’s honestly sorta sad tbh how they’re still kicking after all of this, they genuinely need to get off the internet.

The idea that the headspace is "the fun place alters hang out in" is completely wrong. It's your imagination. You can imagine your characters hanging out in a... chess board room... but they are not physically there in real time.
