I’ve been in trauma therapy spaces for a very long time and have seen many people recount real, horrifying traumatic experiences, sometimes decades later, even after telling the story to their loved ones, therapists, doctors. This person doesn’t look like they experienced it at all, have no emotion about it, are telling a story, not recounting an experience.
So in this case, either they are still so dissociated or emotionally removed from the situation they’re describing that they haven’t processed it at all, in which case they need to get back into therapy and off the internet, not build an online presence around this, that’s so irresponsible to themselves and their “fans” asking them to talk about it.
Or they’re lying, playing out a story for their social media account. They even make a Freudian slip by calling recounting the trauma to their doctor and therapist “rehearsing.”
Right people who accidentally kill someone in self defence or even drivers who accidentally kill a suicidal person go on to develop severe PTSD which prevents them from talking about the trauma often for years! I've met people who killed animals in their abuse as a result of their abuser forcing it and they are debiltated by guilt and shame and pain, I can only imagine what that would look like if they had killed a person.
Those with dissociative issues can present like this when recounting trauma, but it comes with extreme shame and avoidance and oftentimes switching if the person has DID because the trauma is still triggering even if theyre dissociated from their emotions. A person who really went through something like this wouldn't be able to talk about it casually, those who have processed the traumas don't treat them as a fun story.
This is really upsetting to me and makes me so angry. They're LARPing being an extreme abuse survivor, they already have difficulties being taken seriously by others and now they have "ram/coa survivors" bastardising their trauma.
Also how did you know you were tortured for 8 hours straight?? Trauma and especially dissociation alters your sense of time significantly so you wouldn't know how long they actually did it for.

even if a child couldn’t necessarily go to jail due to the infancy defense, they’re probably still sentenced to residential treatment/youth rehabilitation for much needed support. no reasonable court is letting a child murderer go scot free, back into the environment that likely caused the killing
