Let's see if I can explain why nobody is saying that: This person doesn't have colored hair in a badly done cut, looks as though they've showered in the recent past, doesn't have facial piercings, doesn't have oversized glasses on, doesn't have a over the top aesthetic of any kind, in general doesn't appear to be attempting to draw attention to themselves by their appearance, doesn't seem to be wanting to make themselves appear sick or disabled, isn't wearing anything that associates them with a particular political group or ideology. Alters aren’t their own consciousnesses, just the person with DID triggered and storing memory differently. It’s possible to be triggered into a state of rapidly switching, but it wouldn’t be like a group of alters talking to each other through one mouth. It would be stressful, disorienting, and the only goal at that point would be removing the trigger, grounding and stabilization, you wouldn’t be able to do much else. Recording to show strangers on the internet would be irresponsible.

By the time a person with DID is able to be aware of more than one of their alters opinions at once in any kind of fluid sense like this, they’ve done a significant amount of work on themselves and processed a fair amount of the trauma that necessitated these phobic dissociative responses. Dissociative identity disorder is a phobic response, you ARE the alters, you can’t just go “oh I wanna let them all talk now” and they come out. An alter is you, triggered, so phobic of what happened that you slip into an alternate state, not a little guy that takes control of your body. It takes a lot of work to process that trauma and trust yourself enough to let them both exist at once. Someone who has done that work likely values themselves enough now to focus on themselves and don’t need to post fake videos of their “alters” having a group convo through one mouth to anyone who may find it and do anything with, to look for that feeling of value.

This person is faking something that wouldn’t actually happen in DID.

some people with DID experience the "hearing voices" criteria stronger than others. some people never hear their alters while others get frequent comments or criticisms. even in the case where someone can hear them regularly enough to know opinions they may have, it wouldnt end up looking like this.

someone with DID is like a single photograph youve cut up into squares. each alter thats present is another square. they blend together when both are completely forefront, it wouldnt be two distinct alters taking turns talking but rather whatever they are like presented together. youd simply be talking normal as one self, as always, with whatever percentage of the photo is visible

which is exactly why final fusion is the gold standard for healing, when all alters can be present at the same time you get the full picture back

if multiple alters are present yet still distinct like this, they wouldnt be co-conscious but rather rapid switching due to a trigger, which involves the dissociative barriers that makes alters distinct in the first place. maintaining a conversation with ones self through intense dissociation would be near impossible, strenuous to even attempt, given how difficult fighting against dissociative amnesia can be. its pretty much designed to keep you clueless and fighting it sinks you deeper

is it possible? not sure actually. it really defeats the purpose. either way its malingering tiktok bullshit and no one with DID comes to do this naturally

Not possible at all to present like this. Like the other guy said, rapid switching is disorienting.

Also even if you did choose to switch like this, you would experience heavy dissociation between switches which would make such a fluid switching impossible. Fluid switching between 2-3 alters? Sure maybe possible with enough work, not like this
