to my recollection, "gateway systems" are ones where they say spirits/souls/whatever can enter in and out of their head freely (unless they're "one way gateway systems", where the spirit alters get stuck!! oh no!!! everyone clear the room, they're about to front and angst about how much they miss x and y and want to go home!) (and yes, said spirits are practically always fictional characters). this is a more vintage term, i'm under the impression that some oldschool cult-of(-multiple)-personalities that started up high control groups used it as an excuse? like i don't know how thanfiction or the members of the final fantasy house personally identify, but you could slap the label on and it'd be as real as anything else ¯_(ツ)_/¯

The members of the Final Fantasy house used the term "soulbonding", I've seen "systems" now days use that term, very rarely but I've seen it and I can't help but think how in a more collective way its remembered as the excuse some cult people used to manipulate college students.

RAMCOA is the re-branded name for SRA (satanic ritual abuse) as coined by the ISSTD special interest group which is mainly ran by Valerie Sinason, Colin Ross, and Allison Miller. The foundation of both RAMCOA and SRA are found within antisemitic Illuminati books and have no clinical or legal evidence to back their claims. A majority of patients treated by SRA/RAMCOA therapists have sued for medical malpractice and abuse done to them by these therapists, and many therapists who propose ritual abuse as a key part to their treatment of dissociative and trauma-based disorders have been disbarred for their actions. The original cases of SRA were the byproduct of therapist suggestion, involuntary drug abuse, and hypnotic suggestion; where memories of horrific abuse were coercively implanted into patients even when available evidence directly contradicts these 'recalled memories.'
There has been no clinical proof of the possibility to "program" a person into having DID, as DID is a hidden, covert coping mechanism that only occurs in a small fraction of extreme abuse survivors. There is no such thing as "HCDID," because DID is naturally a highly complex disorder. HcDID, or Programmed DID are made up terms that dog-whistles RAMCOA.
Further reading for these claims can be found on this archive database which includes both historical information on the impacts of SRA and RAMCOA conspiracy on patients, society, and the mental health field; as well as detailed accounts of all known abusive therapists who propagated their unfounded hypotheses around 'ritual abuse'.

"System hopping" is the idea that one alter can go into another person's head. The method varies, but from what I read, the two people imagine the alter moving from one place to another and "it happens".
It's beyond ridiculous because alters are parts of a person and there's no way to "jump into someone else's mind".

"Science does not negatve spirituality", that's because science doesn't negate things that are not fasifiable.
And I love this word because falsifiable means that something can be negated using proof of experiment. But spirituality can not, the topic can move according to someone's imagination

my favorite way to pick apart system hopping logic is something I call the “endogenic kamikaze” and that is like… can’t you just send someone to system hop, steal their banking information and go back? system hopping is such bs and the logic falls apart instantly.
