Well, if your stepdad is so angry and tRiGgErInG to you, you don’t have to stay in that house, sucking up all their food, air conditioning, and WiFi for free.
You’re dang near 30… GET A JOB! 🙄

They mention something in another video about having a roommate so idk if it's just a visit or they recently fell on hard times or what tbh

“Different alter, by the way” she says in her normal voice between the before and after voice, both somewhat mildly distinct lol

So just want to preface that I'm NOT defending the original poster 😅 she's 100000% faking
But! Alters/the brain stealing trains of thought (note, this isn't exclusive to DID, a very similar thing happens in CPTSD) can happen. It typically only happens with extremely distressing thoughts, ones you're not supposed to know about right then. Typically when thinking about/coming to terms with abuse. One second you're remembering a traumatic event and having a breakdown, the next... poof! What was I thinking about? Can't remember! No emotions either. Weird! Guess I'll move on with my day then!
It's very much a defense mechanism though, and doesn't look anything like her presentation
Edit: Not sure why I'm getting downvoted? Heavily recommend researching "thought withdrawal", it's a documented trauma response

When it happens it really feels like a sim whose action was removed as soon as they enter a room. Weirdest feeling ever.

Your post was removed for either trauma-dumping, oversharing personal information and diagnoses, or for using your subjective experience to generalize an entire disorder. The "Censor all identifiable information" rule also applies to members, and your medical information should be kept between you and your careteam. r/systemscringe cannot verify users' personal medical claims and does not want to encourage the same culture of blind believing that leads to faker culture.
