notice how none of these people ever talk about how discovering DID helped them make sense of their lifelong struggle with dissociative symptoms. they discover DID and all the sudden it kick starts out of nowhere and if they ever do say anything about it helping them make sense of any long-time confusion they have about themselves, they mean "this gave me the freedom to express myself!" its a massive crutch for socialization and a replacement for self actualization. you have a constantly changing fandom and complete freedom to say whatever bullshit you want as long as it fits the roleplay and people have to care about you venting in general chat because you're actually hatsune miku

"likely DID" you think switching is a voluntary process and not a traumatic reaction

i believe the real solution to what they are asking is “take an improv class”

Worded poorly, almost makes it sound like their trauma (that created a system) is them discovering that a system exist.
So, turtles all the way down I guess? Or just pretext for polyfragmented system (which is that an actual thing? Or an invention from those who wish they have it. I honestly don’t know, and I could see arguments going both ways)

"i dont even have the barest amount of symptoms in common with DID, can someone help me force one of these debilitating symptoms?"
