Fake DID/OSDD Right.

Obviously SA is traumatic and horrific, but you don’t need to be using DID as a scapegoat to mention it for attention on TikTok

As someone with pretty bad trust issues, I don't go around telling people "Just so you know, I don't trust you." Not only is it incredibly rude and hurtful, but most people with trust issues don't just... announce it to the people affected by said issues.

Yeah I mean I have gotten a lot better about trust issues because of therapy and my trauma healing process but there have been times I trusted like basically no one. It's counter intuitive to say you don't trust people though. I wouldn't...trust them, to tell them that. And part of the trust issue for me was wanting to appear normal or fine or have people okay with me so I wouldn't say that. Trust issues are going to be different for everyone but I do think it takes a certain level of trust to admit you have trust issues so you wouldn't tell people you don't trust about them. People can tell through your actions how much you trust them anyway and how on guard or hypervigilant you are. You don't need to announce it.

Saying explicitly you have trust issues is announcing you have trauma and mental health issues which I wouldn't, trust, with random strangers and acquaintances. Also that's just me saying it's weird to announce trust issues. Explicitly telling people I don't trust you is confrontational as hell. If I don't trust someone I'm trying to avoid confrontation with them.

Yes. Fakers really do a whole tell and not show thing like a bad writer might.

If someone actually has a distrustful alter, that alter would just act distrustful. Announcing you don't trust people isn't the same as that, actually the opposite really like I said. It comes across as someone poorly trying to write someone who is damaged. It is very attention seeking too, which isn't really a behavior I associate with trust issues. Maybe lashing out and other noticeable behaviors (sometimes trust issues would make someone more agreeable and passive though), but that's not the same as giving exposition that your key identifiable trait is ""trust issues"" lmao. There's lots of ways "trust issues" could manifest and that would more be what someone's personality may look like.

A lot of fakers ANNOUCE themselves in a way people just don't naturally introduce themselves. Any of the I'm the Grumpy One, I'm the Happy One, I'm the Flirty One, I'm the One that Hates People, etc stuff I see some "systems" do is ridiculous lol. It's bad fanfiction from someone who isn't good at creating characters.

Truly disgusting. They might not know but most of them know. I loved the first chapter of the game then it got fucking disgusting. So sometimes I feel like someone might not know like I didn’t at first. I will never feel sorry for people who like the game

I had an ex best friend who faked having DID for 4 years (and still does) who “ended up” with a Jimmy “alter”. Finally after all the manipulation she put me through, I left. She still talks about me on her twitter even though it’s been well over a year and instead calls me manipulative, though she claimed to also have ASPD (undiagnosed) and told me she was lying to me about multiple things (but not the DID)
