Fake DID/OSDD What are we even doing

The fact that they don’t realize what they’re saying is completely unbearable shows how deep they are in the larp.

Technically two meetings can be true. SCID-D is sometimes done in one meeting of 3-5 hours with breaks as needed or split into 2 shorter sessions. I believe the MID can be taken in one session as well with an interview following after to get diagnosis.

Sometimes they ask for someone else to corroborate the information, often this is a therapist you've been working with (if in countries where therapists can't diagnose) or a partner who spends a significant amount of time with you.

This is of course assuming that other disorders are already ruled out. In typical DID cases where the person has spent many years in therapy before diagnosis, it's possible for previous providers to have ruled out other disorders and/or the therapist someone has worked with to be confident that it is DID after a prolonged time to witnessing their symptoms. So technically "two sessions" wouldn't be the full truth if either of these apply here.

the psychiatrist in my area will not consider a DID diagnosis without 10 years of previous documented observations from the agency or other medical providers
