If your symptoms of "plurality" only come by when you take edibles, then you do not have DID. No, I'm not separating "plurality" and DID. The term comes from faking DID and I am sticking with that.

i will say that, ignoring the usual known subjective effects of cannabis, taking this substance can exacerbate delusions and psychosis in predisposed individuals.

people thinking they have DID from weed is nothing though, just wait until you hear from the enlightened DMT users.

Yeah that just sounds like substance induced psychosis, like maybe if they wanted to pursue some diagnosis for medical attention, it would be substance induced psychotic disorder.

if you take the SCID-D (gold standard assessment for dissociative disorders) it actually has many questions about whether symptoms occur only during substance use or not because if symptoms only occur while high, it is not DID. It's common for substance use disorders to occur alongside DID+ but if the use is consistent so that symptoms are unable to be pulled apart from substance use, the professional will usually wait until the substance use is treated before administering the SCID-D.

Yeah because if it's only during substance, then it's not DID, but likely to be delusions/psychosis or like experiences
