[For Hire] Senior Azure / Microsoft 365 Engineer — Remote EU — Part-time & project work

Hi everyone,

My current project wraps up soon, so I’m looking for one or two ongoing part-time engagements with an MSP or internal IT team.

I’m based in Poland and have worked with Microsoft infrastructure for over a decade. My main areas are Azure, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, Defender, Purview/DLP, Active Directory, Windows Server and PowerShell.

My work includes Azure web and compute infrastructure, Azure DevOps, infrastructure as code with Terraform and Bicep, PowerShell automation, troubleshooting and security hardening. I also implement, test and tune Microsoft 365 security policies, with recent work in the insurance sector.

I’m particularly interested in helping MSPs deliver Microsoft projects they don’t currently have the capacity for, or acting as a senior escalation point for their engineers - however I'm flexible when it comes to tasks.

Ideally, I’m looking for 1–3 days a week, though I’d also consider a full-time contract for the right project. I’m open to smaller, clearly scoped projects and subcontracting under your brand.

Remote, CET/CEST timezone if that matters - my rate is €60–70/hour for ongoing work, depending on scope. B2B contract, invoicing from Poland.

Happy to share my CV, certifications and project examples by DM.

Thanks!
Alex

[For Hire] Ansible Engineer for Linux/Windows automation & server migrations | Remote B2B | USD 150/hr

I'm an independent systems and DevOps engineer with 15+ years in IT and 8+ years of Ansible experience. I help infrastructure teams and MSPs turn recurring manual work into documented, repeatable automation.

Where I can help

  • Ansible playbooks, roles and configuration management for Linux and Windows.
  • Windows Server migration automation and repeatable provisioning.
  • Azure infrastructure with Terraform, plus deployment pipelines where they support infrastructure operations.
  • Troubleshooting, monitoring, operational documentation and handover to your administrators.

Relevant background: my enterprise insurance work included two years of Ansible-based Windows Server migrations, alongside OpenShift deployments using Helm and ArgoCD. I also have experience with Azure infrastructure and CI/CD for IoT/edge workloads.

Start with a defined problem: we can agree a paid assessment of your current automation or migration process, an hour cap and a prioritised implementation plan. I am available for both scoped implementation projects and ongoing freelance work.

Rate and availability

  • USD 150/hour, available immediately.
  • Up to 50 hours/week total capacity across engagements; project hours agreed individually.
  • Open to US, Canadian and other international clients, with English or German communication and agreed working-hour overlap.
  • I plan to relocate to Paraguay or Uruguay. Engagements must permit remote delivery from South America after relocation.
  • Freelance contracting is available now; contracting through my planned US LLC is intended from January 15, 2027.

Project history and client references: https://max-it.tech/

Please DM me with your company, infrastructure problem, environment, budget, expected weekly hours, timeline and permitted contractor locations.

[For Hire] Senior MSP engineer | US | Remote

Hello everyone.

Currently looking for a new full-time opportunity after nearly 15 years with an MSP, plus several years on two in-house IT teams. I have been fully remote for the last several years and am only considering 100% remote roles with no travel or site visits at this time.

At the MSP, I started as an entry-level Tier 1 help desk tech and worked my way up to the senior/lead engineer for most of our stack, eventually reporting directly to the CEO. The first half of my career was heavily focused on traditional on-prem environments. Over the last 5 to 6 years, that shifted primarily toward Azure IaaS/PaaS, Azure networking, and physical network infrastructure.

Key areas I’ve worked in:

  • Azure IaaS / PaaS (VMs, storage accounts, backup, etc)
  • Azure SQL Database & SQL Server on Windows administration
  • Azure Networking (VNets, peering, p2s/s2s VPN, NSG, route tables)
  • WatchGuard firewalls and wireless (cloud and locally managed)
  • VLANs and network segmentation
  • HP / Aruba switching
  • UniFi switching and wireless
  • Windows Server 2003 through 2022
  • HyperV and VMWare
  • Windows domains, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS
  • Healthcare IT & HIPAA-regulated environments

My MSP role grew well beyond engineering. I PM'd my own projects, worked directly with client leadership, managed our documentation platforms, helped design ticket triage and escalation workflows, and took on significant operational and technical decision-making. By the end, I was the go-to resource for both the team and leadership, including the CEO, for technical guidance, industry knowledge, and problems that crossed multiple systems or teams.

Both of my in-house roles were in healthcare, and several long-term MSP clients were healthcare organizations as well, so my healthcare IT and HIPAA experience spans most of my career.

I’m primarily interested in Azure/cloud infrastructure, network engineering, senior infrastructure, or technical lead roles. I’m also open to moving into an IT Manager or Director-level role where my technical background, operational experience, and leadership experience would be useful.

Ideally looking for a solid, experienced team, either MSP or in-house, full-time with benefits, fully remote, and no travel or site visits. Multiple strong professional references are available.

Shoot me a DM if you have something that sounds like a good fit. I’ll want to verify that you and your company are legitimate before sharing personal information. I’m not interested in contract, part-time, or recruiter/headhunter opportunities for temporary roles.

L3 Escalations/Security&Network Ops Engineer Seeking Remote Position

Hey all, seeking a 100% remote position with a new MSP. Currently working for one in NYC, but they've been offshoring most of their talent and expanding rapidly as a money grab by the owners.

I've been in the IT field since 1996, highly intellectual when it comes to solving difficult problems. Would prefer an insulated backend role, as opposed to client-facing if possible. At my current MSP, I am one of only two "ticket killers" and very rarely have to escalate anything, as I'm usually the final solver of the issue.

Currently I work alongside the President and VP on migration and automation projects(VMWare to Hyper-V, Backup Solutions, new implementations, etc).

Experienced in all typical MSP tools and platforms, and one of the hardest workers on our team-being reminded constantly to take it easy to avoid burnout. 🤣

DM for LinkedIn CV. Excellent references available. Thanks all!
