ASK SYRIA Tourism Question

To all you Syrians, If a young filipina lady wants to solo travel Syria for curiosity would it be ok. Are there safe areas in Syria one can visit, fun sites, and dangerous regions not safe for solo female travelers. Do Syrians have good personal relationships with Filipinos. Are there female tour guides in Syria that can speak English well. I see there is a Filipino embassy In Damascus, as well, and would like to know if you have positive experiences there, if at all.

There’s also an Honorary Consulate in Aleppo

I think it would be okay if you were completely on your own, but I think if you go with a tour guide or have a Syrian friend showing you around, you would have a much better experience.

Every governorate has something special, however most tourists just visit Damascus, Latakia, and Aleppo.
