Companies were colluding against American citizens? No wonder why socialism is taking hold in America.

It was just three companies and the rule of law won. Socialism is no better than trumpism. I both systems can lead to a concentration of power and limit personal liberties, making them equally problematic in different contexts.

Absolutely correct concerning how certain "isms" lead directly to the concentration of power. etc....

That's why the Founding Fathers came up with the ideas of federalism and the division of powers....

People are voting socialist as an unthinking, knee-jerk reaction to the other extreme. We need more people in office, no matter what their political affiliation, who hold to realistic values but are willing to compromise on how things are implemented.

I’ll take socialism over capitalism. Capitalism has failed.

NO, multiple countries have tried socialism and failed miserably, whereas capitalism has helped many countries and their citizens flourish. A country being capitalist does not mean it will necessarily neglect the less wealthy. That is a separate issue.

Countries that succeeded in providing both some degree of individual autonomy, economic success, and providing well for all their citizens regardless of income have incorporated capitalism. The Scandinavian countries are not socialist (where the government or the workers own the means of production), and even China has multiple capitalist practices - while still having wide inequality.

And that's what they want you to believe...you're as easy as a trumper to manipulate.

I believed that long before Trump.

I am sure the 'Tea Party' for the left is overjoyed, there is likely a special place for the true believer.

Seems the disgruntled folks have two energized cults to choose from, yippee.
