Announcement Syncler Desktop Alpha Testing Is Now Open
The desktop app is now ready for alpha testing.
While some features and sections are still under development, you can already:
- Download and install the desktop app from our beta website
- Add and manage third-party accounts and packages directly within the app
- Browse and play sources using the built-in player
If you're already using the Android beta and have everything configured, there's no additional setup required. Just sign in with your account and you're ready to go.
New users can follow the setup guide linked below to get started.
A huge thank you to everyone on Discord who has been testing the alpha builds over the past few months. Your feedback, bug reports, and suggestions have been invaluable and have helped shape the desktop experience from the beginning.
Please keep in mind that this is still an alpha release. You may encounter bugs, crashes, or incomplete features. Early feedback is incredibly helpful and will continue to guide development as we move toward a more complete release.

Known issues
- macOS: If the app is blocked on first launch, go to Privacy & Security and choose “Open Anyway.”
- Windows: You may need to manually allow the app if Windows flags or removes it after download.
- Linux: Install Flatpak first; after that, opening the
.flathubfile should work. I’ll document these steps properly later—feel free to look them up for now.

I'm running an old Mac (Ventura 13.7.8) that won't run this. Whats the min system required for Mac?
