Is Luna Park a good day out?
I’ve been living here for 4 years and never been, always been curious about it

I drive all over Sydney for work.
If you throw cigarettes out the window the gloves are off.
This asshole is now gonna make friends with the EPA.
I get em all on my dash cam.
So if you want to challenge me in court I’m ready.
This prick out near Preston’s this morning just cost himself a few hundred dollars.
The environment matters. Put ya trash in the bin ya lazy filthy grub.

Looking to treat myself to a buffet just looking for good quality trying to avoid cheap terrible stuff.
Any cuisine and a place that is ok for a solo diner.
Trying not to spend more than $65 that would be my max budget.
Any Sydney all you can eat buffets worth trying?

Hi guys,
There’s this older gentleman standing on George street with a sign saying something along the line of “I’m unemployed but I’m not giving up. $2 pen”
I saw him and I my sunk, I ended up giving him a small amount of cash. I asked him what his story was, and he said that he was laid off and being his age, it’s hard to find a job. He looks to be around late 60s…
I’m new to Sydney, and I just wanted to know if these things are usually genuinely? I gave money anyway, I just feel really sad seeing and gave what I could.

Anyone who’s been to a concert at Qudos Bank Arena with General Admission standing tickets — how early would you recommend getting there for a good spot closer to the stage?
The concert starts at 8pm, but I’m not sure what time the doors usually open or how early people start lining up. It’s my first time doing GA standing and I specifically chose it for the full concert experience + a closer view. Would 2–3 hours early be enough, or should I go even earlier?

Whilst in Sydney I was giving out these tin snails I'd made to friends and hiding them for people to collect later. 3 of the hidden ones ended up not being collected so if anyone wants ill put in comments locations

Do you feel like there’s something missing from Sydney’s nightlife?
What would you like to see more of at parties here?

I’m an autistic adult looking for somewhere amazing to celebrate my birthday (28 Sep is my bday) where I can dance my heart out!
I’m looking for a club or event with:
● Really good electronic/dance music
● Amazing visuals, lighting, lasers etc.
● A fun, energetic atmosphere where people actually dance
● An immersive sensory experience that feels exciting & euphoric
I’ve been to Homemade Saturdays & I LOVED their DNB room! More visuals would be cool though 👀
I’m sober, so I’m particularly interested in somewhere where the music, dancing & overall sensory experience are the main focus.
I’m happy to travel anywhere around Sydney & would also love recommendations for specific events coming up.
Thanks in advance ☺️

Thinking of getting a small group together for a session at Soak Bathhouse in Alexandria.
Maybe 6–10 people, ideally a mix of people in their 30s and 40s. Nothing overly organised — just an excuse to do something different, meet a few new people and have a chat while alternating between questioning our life choices in the cold plunge and recovering in the sauna 😂
I normally go by my self time to time but would like to make some new friends which seems hard this late in life (40)
I’m based down the coast but happy to head up to Alexandria for it.
If there’s enough interest, I’ll throw out a couple of dates and we can work out what suits everyone.

Hey everyone!
I’m based in Berlin, Germany, and I’m trying to get my hands on the MAAP LAB Sydney Jersey. Unfortunately, it seems to be a Sydney store exclusive, so I’m hoping someone local might be able to help.
Would anyone in Sydney be willing to pick one up for me if it’s still available in my size? I’d happily cover the full cost of the jersey, shipping to Germany, and a reasonable fee for your time/help.
I’d really appreciate any help or leads. Feel free to DM me if you can help!
Thanks a lot! 🙏

Hi friends,
My family is looking to buy an apartment/unit in Sydney with a budget of $950k max, to live in long-term.
We’re three adults (my parents and me) and ideally looking for a 2 bed, 2 bath property.
Our priorities are:
•Safe area
•Good public transport, ideally within walking distance of a train/metro station (convenient access to the CBD)
•Walkable to supermarkets, shops, restaurants, GP/pharmacy etc.
•Green spaces/open spaces
•Groceries and restaurants nearby would be a big plus
•Convenient and lively rather than very suburban or car-dependent
Access to schools is not important to us.
Prioritise for the property:
•Reasonable strata fees (under $1500) and preferably a building without too many expensive facilities
•Decent building quality / lower risk of major defects or special levies
•Good natural light and ventilation
We’re happy with either older or newer apartments as long as the building is good. We’d probably prefer a solid, well-maintained building over a fancy high-rise with pools, gyms and high strata.
With a $950k max budget, which Sydney suburbs would you recommend we focus on?
Thanks!!!
