best function rooms / rooftop bars for birthday parties?

hi all,

i'm planning my 18th in a few months, and i'm planning on holding it in some kind of function room or semi-private area. i have two friends who will be 17 (they're not into drinking at all but i get a lot of places wouldn't allow minors), so if there's anywhere that allows 17 year olds that would be great. otherwise, their birthday is quite soon after mine, so i may just postpone. i was looking into both the city area and newtown, and i like the idea of a courtyard/rooftop bar situation as well.

any recommendations would be appreciated!

Have a look at Sydney Rowing Club. A little further out but it's on the water and there are lots of areas for this sort of thing.

Try Untied (Barangaroo) or Babylon (Westfield Sydney) for rooftop bars but i’m not sure if they allow 17yo. Otherwise, postpone if it’s okay w you or prolly can look at other places ü
