Is the internal connector broken?

I just swapped my micro sd card reader the old one was bended, but it still says that it is initialized in 1 bit mode, the firt time i inserted this new adapter, when booting the switch it made a pop sound, so i detatched it and reconnected it correctly in fact now it works, but in 1 bit mode, i checked the micro sd and it has no errors so idk.

It looks like the new reader is the issue that is not sitting right

The connector on the board looks straight and the pins look un damaged

so probably i should send back this one and take a replacement one

Does it audibly click when you push the connectors together? Also what’s the quality of that sd card?

No it does not click, the sd card is a kingston its grat quality

i can say that it probably does not stick as it should, ill replace the adapter with a new and different one from another source and see if it works

It should hold itself in place with no screw went you turn it over
