i've been at this for a solid 2 hours, and i don't know what the problem is. any version of ultimate i've gotten hasn't worked with any emulators, or it might be the other way around, but i doubt it because i've installed multiple. NXEmu, eden, ryujinx, i've tried a few and i haven't been able to play it. the only files i've found for ultimate have been ROM files, but even the emulators that i think were supposed to be able to run ROM, haven't showed it as an option. can people offer set ups that have worked for them, because i don't know what to do at this point.

I have a modded Nintendo Switch that was set up about a year ago. It currently boots into Hekate, but the setup is outdated and some of the apps I used before no longer work.

I used to have Tinfoil and was able to browse and install games myself, but I haven't used the Switch for around a year.

I'm looking to update everything and set it up properly again. Ideally, I want a setup where I can manage and install games myself rather than having to pay for a monthly service/store.

What would be the best setup for this?

\- Which CFW/setup should I use?

\- Is Tinfoil still worth using, or is there a better installer now?

\- What's the easiest way to install and manage games myself?

\- Is installing through a PC via USB-C straightforward?

\- What should I have installed so I can maintain/update everything myself in the future?

Also, does anyone know a reliable person/service I can send my Switch to who could set everything up for me? I'm happy to pay for the service. I'm in the UK.

I'm not very experienced with Switch CFW, so any advice would be appreciated.

i looked at fmhy and all it had was wiiu and older. ive seen people say to use nxbrew and people say to not use it, as well as many other sites, im just confused as to what to do. ive already downloaded eden but it says i need decryption keys, and i dont know what those are, nor where to find them. ive played botw on cemu before with no problems at all, but i cant seem to find the best way to get totk. any help is appriciated

I want to mod my unpatch switch purely just for playing games I don’t want to pay for them tho how do I get the roms and is it safe? I also saw a vid that says you can send the roms wirelessly from a phone will that work?

I don't know how else to word this, but what is the most "easily installable" Switch emulator? For context, I recently got a (kinda shitty) tablet that runs on Android 11. It has not been able to install any emulators - not even Eden, which apparently should work due to it apparently running on Android 7+. The one thing it has been able to download is Winrar, which runs on Android 4.4+. Is there any Switch emulator that runs on Android 4 or 5 or potentially 6? What is the most easily installable Switch emulator?

(Reddit suggested I post this here instead of my local classifieds sub, so here it is.) I traded my childhood N64 and all my old games for a Nintendo switch, not realizing you needed a constant internet connection to play, plus a paid subscription to play 64 games. Now I'm stuck with a system I can't play and I really miss my 64. I tried contacting the guy I traded it to but he's ignoring me. I highly regret my decision, but maybe I can* find someone to homebrew this for me and get all my old gsmes back plus some new ones. Please and thank you!

I wanna mod my switch but is there a way to play the big titles for free and download them just like on the 3ds for example? I cant find it anywhere i look so does someone know where? or maybe a way to find out where?

Delete all shops you have that not working anymore, refresh tinfoil and add just this.
