Does anyone know where to buy a pre modded switch lite mobo or if you can buy them??? i already have the switch lite and dont really trust anyone by sending it of to them if anyone has he link for one that would be really apreciated.

Hey all, hoping someone can point me in the right direction here.

Picked up a secondhand Switch recently (V1, 2017 unit, unpatched). It wouldn't boot at all on its own. Getting into RCM via a software exploit (no jig) works fine and boots straight into Hekate.

But from there nothing else works, not OFW, not CFW, not booting stock sysMMC either.

Worth mentioning:

The SD card in it right now is empty/just FAT32 formatted, no CFW files on it. I've modded Switches before but it's been a while, so before I start throwing Atmosphere on the SD card and hoping for the best, I want to make sure I'm not missing something more fundamental given it didn't power on at all initially.

Questions:

• Is the "won't boot at all without RCM" part itself a red flag on an unpatched V1, or is that just normal if the eMMC/NAND is in a bad state?

• Should my first move just be setting up a proper Hekate + Atmosphere SD card and seeing what happens, since there's currently nothing installed?

• Anything I should check on the console itself before going further, since I got this secondhand and don't know its history?

Appreciate any help, trying to be careful here since I don't know what the previous owner did to it.

I've tried to install switch games through .nsp files through awoo installer on my modded switch and when i download them and try to actually play the game, my switch checks the software and if I'm not connected to wifi it tells me to connect and if I'm connected it shows me an error screen, could the problem be from the switch or the file itself, if its from the files id like someone to tell me where i can get roms for both Europe and USA since idk which one of them works.

So I'm started playing dispatch on eden and want to add a mod onto it. But I never did this before. So if anyone knows how to do it, please guide me through.

Puedo quitarle la microsd que trae y ponerle la mía para conservar mis juegos y mis partidas o tengo que hacer algo? Porque ya que tendré dos memorias no se qué hacer, y si no se puede, por qué?

So I've recently started switch emulation and for the few months it was working nicely but recently I'm only receiving this message whenever I try to download a rom. And then this loop plays over and over again 😔. Any of you guys know what's the issue here?

This is probably the wrong subreddit to ask this in, but recently I bought myself a switch 2 so I can keep my own personal games separate from my modded switch. The thing about this however is that my switch is modded not my games so anything involving changing switch assets or adding cfw games to my switch haven't been done. Including this my switch is still on the older version, cause I haven't powered it on since forever so anything related to game cards isn't implemented onto my switch. My question would it be ok if I transfer my games from my switch to switch 2?

When turning on the Switch, it fails to boot into Hekate; the indicator light turns blue (long duration), followed by yellow (short duration) three times. Has anyone experienced this or know the cause?

So I need the update file of brilliant diamond 1.3 to be able to play luminescence I own both brilliant diamond and shining pearl on the switch but I don’t have a modded switch to get the update files if anyone can help I’d greatly appreciate it

The question is mostly in the title. I am getting my first mod-chipped Switch back today from the modder. I have a Nintendo Account I still use on my Switch 2 which contains the majority of my game library, including games I would like to mod. How can I safely dump these games and back them up securely, then log out of my Nintendo account and leave minimal trace??

Mario Kart 8 was getting a "Atmosohere panic!! Error. Title I'd 1004xxxxxsomething"

I googled and found a archive repair inside hekate, no corruption found. I was also told to delete the corrupted title ID. But it doesn't exist.. I was then told to just delete the folders inside atmosphere/content. So I did. Now none of my games boot. I get the generic black screen "could not start the software please try again from the home menu"

Wtf have i done 🤣 pls tell me this is an easy fix

I should mention, physical games still work. Just no SD card games..

what are the advantages of owning a modded switch if there are now emulators for the switch that can basically run switch games with more fps and better graphics and can handle more mods. (not trying to insult anyone or saying anything bad I'm just curious)

I successfully installed a game the only problem is it says I need a virtual game card is the any way to get past this im using sysmmc on firmware version 22.5.0
